Centara Villas Phuket

After booking when I saw some vdos on youtube, I was apprehensive & wasn’t quite sure if I will like this place, it looked old and worn out. But my Oh my !! It was so darn beautiful, well managed property. The pics and vdos just doesn’t do justice to do the place. I am not sure how old the property is, but howsoever old it is, it doesn’t look and feel that way. It is very well maintained – like a beautiful village tucked away on a hill overlooking the ocean. In a nutshell , what I loved : 1) We stayed at deluxe private pool villa – which was absolutely gorgeous, neat & clean. Mini bar was fully stocked with all other amenities in place. 2) I found the room a bit smaller, but nothing alarming, however, the patio was huge with sunbeds, table, chairs. The bathroom was also very spacious with a bathtub and all amenities very well placed and stocked. 3) No matter what time at night we came back from outside, there was always someone ready with a smile to greet us & take us to our room in the buggy. 4) The front desk staff was very hospitable & warm. And it was quick check in & check out. 5) Entire thing runs on an app, we didn’t need to call anyone, we could just add whatever we needed on the app & Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo – it was delivered to us – from bathroom amenities to food to room cleaning – anything ! We found this very convenient. Although there was a phone available, if anyone wants to call and order , that’s also available. 6) The spa – Oh my God – the Spa ! It’s a different experience altogether. Very skilled masseuse & they have very clean beautiful rooms overlooking the ocean. Amazingly relaxing experience. 7) The entire place is quite, calm, beautiful, clean, lush green, beautiful ocean. Even though we had gone in monsoon season, everything was running very smoothly. 8) Food – Umm, well – this is one area which can be improved may be. The pizza I ordered once was more like tomato sauce on bread. Having said that, I am a vegetarian so finding food anyways becomes tough for me when I am traveling. However, the staff was kind enough to prepare vegetarian dishes for me. So there was no issues with intent I will say – mostly it’s a problem of being a vegetarian I suppose :D . We went out mostly for dinners – buffet breakfast was usual – like any other buffet breakfast. I would want to come back to this resort for a peaceful holiday. It was well beyond my expectations – kudos to each & every member of the staff for making this place such a beautiful experience for us ! Thank you.
