Three friends stayed in the Farm and did the trails of Triangular Points and enjoyed a lot. Room was very good and we enjoyed our stay and food. Buffet had lot of variety and food was very tasty too. Trails were easy to do and not difficult at all 

Excellent stay 

Sheipa area is a gorgeous mountain region.  My first visit was the year before.  However, this is my first ever stay at Sheipa Leisure Farm.   We stayed in one of cottages near garden.   Different flowers in different seasons in the garden as well as the different Mountain View.   The sunrise views in the morning, the foggy views around 3 pm and the sunset views all are so awesome.  This is the hidden gem I did not know and appreciate until my first visit.  We will surely visit here many times in the foreseeable future.

This leisure farm is located in the very close area of Shei-Pa National Park, one of the stunning and breathtaking destinations in Taiwan. It’s famous for the magnificent mountain scenery, variability cloud and fog, picturesque artificial forest, fantastic sunrise and sea of clouds, stargazing in this no light pollution area, and ofcourse, the argricultural products producted by this farm.
It’s no worry about getting bored in this farming resort, lots of hand-on activity and the tour of forest will fulfill your every minute. You can make jelly, fruit vinegar, jam and other DIY projects just depends on how much vigor you have.  By the way, the content of DIY projects might change depends on the peak harvest period of agricultural products, so you might participate in different activity when in different season.
There are multiple types of room you can choose to stay, for me, I prefer the wood house to be my option. It’s spacious, bright and warm, most of all, you can enjoy the charming mountain scenery from the balcony of room. The quality of dining which included in accommodation fee was excellent, it was cost-effective, I had to say that it was difficult to find the same quality food in this remote area. If you want to enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery in Taiwan, this is an ideal destination and really worth to go.

The stunning destination that you shall not miss in Taiwan

The leisure resort situated at 1920m in national park. Activities is well organised, with tour introducing on the gems of fruits, plant and trees in the resort. The walking trail of 3 km in the wood at the back garden is well marked, suitable even for children, though hiking stick advised for elderly especially in rainy days. Offers buffet style Chinese lunch with a lot of choice, including desserts. Cherry blossoms in bloom in Feb. Room heater very good, making sleeping a comfortable one despite outdoor at 2 degrees. Two dogs welcome guests at front door. Staff are mostly young people, offering help to everyone. Travel from Hsinchu city take around 2 hours. 

Fantastic escape from city 

This is a very beautiful and peaceful place.  There are short hikes which bring you to breathtaking views of the mountains and flowers.  Unfortunately we had a lot of fog driving in and out of the resort so I felt that we missed a lot of the scenery. 

They have an afternoon tea which was really nice..  blueberry tea, rose tea, cakes.  The teas were excellent and we were able to sit out on the terrace for some great mountain views.

The breakfast and dinner buffets are ok. Our driver did get a vegetarian meal which actually looked better than the buffet.  I'm not sure if you can ask for that in advance or if that was just something special for the driver. 

The drive into the resort is long and windy.  If  you are prone to motion sickness be prepared.

Beautiful mountain retreat

Recently spent 3 nights at the Sheipa Leisure Farm. The way to this place is a windy mountain road that takes approximately 2 hours from the nearest "civilization".
The rooms are rather spartan and adequate---the food in the buffet area is plentiful but not of the greatest quality.
We were led on a long 3 hour hike up and down slippery mountain trails ( the guides should warn tourists about this---as you need to be sure that you have the appropriate footwear!!)--Weather (in Feb) was very cold---about 8 degrees Centigrade----as a result, all the beautiful plants/flowers in the extensive garden had died!.
Two days in this location is plentiful---as there is really not too much to see or do ---even in the surrounding regions
