But something got me curious. Actually, the hotel and it's dead and dirty and smells like cat pee.

The hostel is walking distance from the station on the west side (slightly long walk but we did it with luggage) Heidi herself was very welcoming. The rooms were basic, we had one double bed and one single bed with an attached bathroom which was very clean. There was a kitchen as well that was good and clean. Would stay here again if I was on a low budget.

Decent Budget Hostel

Of all the places I've had to stay in Switzerland, this place stands out very much and is far from the best. The interlocking city is very expensive, this hostel is also very cheap. But the price is not in line with the quality. The premises are uncomfortable, uncomfortable, the room is completely dark, the corridors are crammed with old furniture and covered with mud, and the most terrible thing is some extremely unpleasant smell. It's cleaned badly, the old dirt everywhere, the grease in the kitchen is absorbed. And everything else is in the same spirit. If you go to Switzerland, the hostel is better to avoid this.

The quality of sleeping is not according to Swiss standards

Interlaken is probably the worst place to stay in Switzerland. Yes, Interlaken is a transit town for many tourists, but on the way there we smelled a lot of scents and there was nothing pleasant about it. The bedroom was the only thing that could comfort us, the only thing that was so simple about why they were in the kitchen.

Chewing is a terrible thing you don't expect in Switzerland.

How to describe in other words what has been expressed here about: dirt, bad smell, cat disgust, kitchen dirt, red carpets, disgusting service, bad smell, rotten towels, the accumulated dust of years and years, would not be possible, I'll devote myself to the technical section. says it has internet but only if you place it at the reception of the Hostal. that at 10 p.m. does not allow you the daughter who shouts and insults and forbids you to use these allies. It was a horrible experience...smell of dogs everywhere. Smell from carpets too.  We tried to come late to the hostel on the second day. I advise not to book this hostel looking at the price. Location is not far from West station

Avoid this hostel

When I first entered to the hotel (that shouldnt even be called a hotel) i started to get sick because of the disgusting smell. The lady that run the hotel had a filthy cat that could enter to any of the rooms. The" bathroom" was inside the closet and i couldnt sleep because the bed was smelly and noisy. I felt so happy when i found out they didnt serve breakfast.

Horrible. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

This was one of my first Hostel experience, I was with my friends and though most of the reviews seem bad, the kitchen was fine, we cooked our food and then went back to our beds, there is no common room space, so less of interaction with fellow travelers but if you're with friends, it's good to go.

Decent budget Hostel

We stayed only for a night, and the hostel seemed fine at first. The good thing about this hostel was that they had a kitchen that we could use and it was cheap for being in Switzerland. The room seemed fine and clean but when we left I noticed that I had something that seemed like mosquito bites. After I returned home I went to the doctor as the bites seemed to get worst. She told me that probably something bite me in the hostel. Also the lady in charge seemed nice but then she tried to charge us with more money as we wanted to pay in euros instead of swiss francs, and she thought that our fee that we already paid to hostelbookers didn't count for the final price.

Poor cleanliness

The hotel is very old and old, the lady is very kind but the hotel is quite abandoned, you can see a lot of dust from the reception, the rooms are of normal size but very full of furniture and so you move very little, in many areas of the hotel there is a lot of dog smell, if you are allergic I would not recommend it even if the other hotels in the area are very expensive
