B&B Hotel Lausanne Crissier

I think we were probably upgraded to the best room in the hotel as we think we were the only independent travellers there. However there were 3 very large groups of guests which caused difficulties at breakfast Our room was huge, very clean, with masses of storage. It had a double aspect - wonderful big windows giving the room a light, bright feel with quite pleasant urban views. There was also a balcony overlooking a small roof garden, which was a pleasant space for spending the evening but it was a shame the chairs were rather utilitarian. Inside the room was a modern design with coloured textured panels but no pictures. The remote exterior shutters plus black out curtains made it so completely dark and silent overnight that sleeping on the comfortable beds was excellent. The bathroom was superb with a big mirror, great lighting, good shower and twin sinks. A couple of small points to note - there were no tea/coffee facilities in room and a full length mirror in room would be a useful addition One concern was the fully openable large 2nd floor window which could be a safety issue for anyone with a child!! The food at breakfast was good but our experience was utter chaos because of the large numbers of guests in groups. When we arrived every table was either occupied or covered in dirty crockery - lots more staff are needed to cope with this situation. However overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend, especially for a traveller wanting a hotel in a convenient location, just a short distance from main routes.
