Hotel Clauria

Travelled with family and stayed from 1st  December to 3rd December 2018. From the first call for booking the service was remarkable and so friendly. Priyankara and Ravi were such dears and assisted our every need and request. Room was cleen, well maintained and had ample space.Garden is calm, peaceful and beautiful. Food was really yummy, good value for money, and served on time.Highly recommend the place for anyone willing for a hazzel free stay in Katharagama. 
We will definetly visit again.

It was really pleasant surrounding than the previous time..had a nice time there..calm and quiet as always.. Greeny environment. Best place to relax at kataragama. Friendly staff. Near to the  Kataragama devalaya. This is very matching for family and friends to enjoy the visit. Comfortable king size beds and all are good. Satisfied and recommend for others

Clauria is a small hotel / Guest house with few cabanas.  No pool or children play area. Good for travelers to just spend a night with basic facilities at a low budget.  We stayed one night on our Kataragama tour  . Place is very quiet and location is convenient as its on Tissa - Kataragama main road. 

There were two double beds , Ac , Tv , Fan tea/coffee making facilities,  clean wash room with basic amenities. 

Food is average and a small buffet was arranged by care taker for our dinner. There is nothing much to comment on that as it is just average in every aspect. 

Service is satisfactory for the price we paid but observed that there is lot of room to improve on service and facilities in this small hotel

Our visit was in August and we stayed for two nights. It had a very peaceful and scenic surrounding which was a remedy for the warm temperature. The cottages were very spacious and clean. The washroom hygiene needs to be improved. We were served with tasty food but we didnt see much of a variation in the food.

Room appearance good. But some bulbs are not working. Bathroom is little bit smelly. Cockroaches are there. No foods are supplied the day I came here. But staff help us to solve food problem ane other matters. 

This hotel has a lovely garden and it a very pleasant place to stay. Very kid friendly. The cottages have 2 large double beds and a table with chairs. The room is clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom however is small and not very nicely planned. Since there is no shower curtain or cubicle the whole bathroom gets splashed when you have a shower.
The staff is very polite and obliging. The food (local) is good and substantial. Service is very good and makes up for the small shortcomings.
