This is a old home converted into hotel/hostel. 
We stayed down the back and the room and bathroom walls need a good scrub and paint job. We were thankful for the lounge room with TV so we could have an afternoon to relax after Adam’s Peak.  Staff are friendly & ordered kottu and pizza for us with no extra service charges. 


Lounge room is a plus 

Nice peaceful area, clean room, double deluxe room with attached bath is fine. Other rooms are very small. Staff was friendly. Close to the area, city and bus stops.
Value for money.
Bed for not super comfortable. To much silence :)

“Nice, Peaceful stay”

We had booked a room online and reached the place in the evening. We had just entered the room and while we were discussing our plans for the next day we realized that it would be a good idea to do a night trek (Adams peak is a trek best undertaken at night as you get a beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning). We requested the hotel to change our booking to the next day and they readily agreed. They let us use the lobby are till late evening when we left to start our trek and even took care of our luggage. The staff and owner were super friendly and supportive.
The hotel itself seems to be a home converted into a hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable. The place is very clean and well maintained. We did not eat any meals in the hotel, so I cannot comment on the food. Overall we had a great experience and I would surely recommend this hotel.

Clean place and Friendly staff

This cottage was very homely and nice. The staff were super nice to us as tried their best to make our stay extra nice and as comfortable as possible. It had a very hospitable environment and although the bed and room were extremely tiny, they were great and gave us lots of extra blankets and things willingly. It was a very very enjoyable stay.

Friendly and homely

Clean rooms and bathrooms and kind staff. A small place built on a old house.Rooms are not big but sufficient for couples, walls are not sound proof. the location is not far from the town. A cook is available to prepare food but we did not try.

Value for money

The family room is located in an annex. A wall made of cardboard, a television in a common room that is always on, a neighbor that you can hear snoring, a bathroom with doubtful cleanliness, a broken wall, a fresh and old bed, moose, windows that aren't, a room that doesn't have room for four and suitcases....We mock the world for $70 a night!!!! One positive thing: breakfast and the kindness of staff.

Family room excluded from prices and benefits

It was a difficult decision, there were no reviews on the trip and no photos of this guy, but we decided to take the risk and we didn't miss it. It's a 30-minute walk from the bus station along the golf course, a very picturesque road. We were greeted by a beautiful new European-style house, not another concrete box. A nice host allowed us to stay in a luxury room, although we booked the usual one for $13, and that includes breakfast.
