Thippola - The Leisure Lodge

This place is built on the edge of a lagoon and has a great view and serenity. Due to the vast open area near by, there is a nice wind flow which helps to relieve the dry,hot weather of the area. The place has 2 spacious bathrooms + 2 more toilettes for a maximum of 10 pax. Mr.Rohana, the caretaker is very nice and attentive. He will cook for visitors/ make bbq if ingradients are brought by visitors. Although You cannot expect high end facillities this place is great for the price you pay.

Had a really nice time there. Took us abt 6 hours to get there from kottawa through the highway. Had a slow driver :-( . The caretaker was very coorperative. The food tasted good and had a nice bbq. Good place to chill. 

We loved the stay at Thippola! Everything about the place, the surrounding, the hospitality and the lovely breeze! It's quite crazy! We initially thought it was going to be very humid since its the dry region that we were going to...but it just ended up to be so breezy and nice..there were times we actually lay on the cement floor downstairs and just embraced the natural beauty.

Location wise,it could be found easily and is very close to the Yala National Park (around 15/20 minutes). We stayed over for two nights and the hospitality provided by the caretaker, Siripala was beyond words. He was able to assist us with everything we needed help for without any complaining or hesitation.The meals are cooked well too. It felt like home! :) just more relaxing..you forget all your worries. 

Unfortunately, the lagoon just nearby was dried up due to the heat and lack of rainfall. Bit it apparently fills up when there's ample rainfall.But the fun part was that we walked all the way on the dry lagoon to where the beach could be seen.We also heard that elephants go across the area at night.

Hoping to plan a longer stay at Thippola again! Very soon! Would recommend to anyone :)

Very nice guest house. Facilities are great and they have BBQ area as well. the food is outstanding and the staff is extremely nice, I loved everything about the place. I strongly recommend this place to anybody who travel Yala and nearby attractions.

Thippola, one of the best Eco Lodge located in kirinda. cool and comfort lodge pampering for any age group  of stays.  Excellent meals, hosting and open living concept,  rejuvenating travels' journey. camping at the lagoon and Barbecue garden, safari tours ,untouched beaches and many more exciting opportunities would experience by the user during their stay. 

We,  staff members of Olak Technologies pvt ltd. had excellent stay on experience with Thippola.

We recommend Thippola for all the decent  nature loving people who enjoy travelling . pls do visit and experience a lush stay .
