Adams Peak Stop Over

The friendly owner Sanjee picked me up from the train station.Tea and biscuits on arrival, he was super helpful explaining all the things to do in Ella on a map.
 Room was lovely and clean, hot shower, towels,wifi, comfortable bed, enjoyable breakfast each day. Great location near the start of the trail to Little Adams Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. And there are good restaurants a couple of minutes walk away. 
Sanjee also help me find accommodation in Arugam Bay and a taxi to get me there. I would be very happy to stay here again, highly recommended. 

Rooms are really clean and nice. Breakfast is home-made and super delicious! Sanjee is always available when you need help or have some questions. He can pick you up from the train station and show you around in Ella. All musst-see spots are very close in walking distance or a short drive by tuktuk. I will definetly go there again!

We stayed here for three nights and everything was great. A very good bed, great location, fenomonal breakfast and great views. On top of that you get the most hospitable and friendliest Family of Sri Lanka. They helped us with a lot of things and let our do our things on our own. Would recommend it to everyone!

When we reserve a budget room we don’t expect anything but cleanliness and convenience. And that’s exactly what we got. The owner was extremely sweet and always looking to help our stay feel comfortable.

Best place to stay in Ella

Great guesthouse

Good value for money, friendly owner 

We were disappointed by this place and felt a bit misled. The room itself was great. We got a family room with 2 double beds - would not want to fit an actual family in here as it was close enough for just the 2 of us! Everything including the bathroom was really clean, with toilet paper and soap provided. It is on the main road so can be a bit noisy.
Sanjee, the host, picked us up from the train station and then got us tea with biscuits and water so all was going well. After that he disappeared. We had no idea who/where to go for breakfast until someone appeared late at night to ask us what time we wanted it and there were no introductions. On Booking.com we chose this place because we wanted a nice stay with hot water, wifi and it said English breakfast and mountain view.
Wifi was slow. Water was tepid and went cold unless you had it on the lowest volume possible. No mountain view. Breakfast was tea with Sri Lankan dahl and samba and some kind of carb, followed by the fruits which were the best part.
When we did see the host again it felt like he kept trying to get us to go to a particular bar and was less than helpful and didn't give us much information at all.
Overall we just felt misled by this place and the amount we paid for what we actually got.
