Booked this very last minute (an hour before arriving) so didn't really have high expectations, especially as we couldn't see any recent reviews for the property, but myself and my boyfriend couldn't have been happier with our booking. In fact we were surprised it didn't have any recent praising reviews, as soon as we arrived we were in awe of the beautiful house, especially the spacious rooms. Location is great, 5min walk (if that) to the beach, 2min walk to Bentota train station, 1 min walk to shops for water etc, around 15min walk/ 5min in tuk tuk to main hub of shops/restaurants/ supermarkets. Breakfast was great, host friendly, would definitey recommend staying here. No negatives, only thing I would say is don't use their laundry service, they use a nearby laundrette that charged us nearly £15 for 1 bag of laundry. This wasn't the property's fault though as I say it was an external laundry service they used, but just a heads up for anyone that is thinking about it.
