Dolphins' Playground Beachfront B&B

The stay exceeded our expectations! Pam was a lovely and endeavours host who tried to feel us comfortable at every second. The room was great, clean and well equipped. The view was the very best, we even saw whales from the breakfast table. Also the breakfast included everything we could have wished for. In summary  we felt in good hands and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful ocean views from the wooden deck, wonderful breakfast outside, nice decorated with the national flag 😜, very short walking distance to the beach, spacious and stylish room and bathroom, we felt very welcome in Plet. Had a wonderful time there on the beach and Keerboum
lagoon, we loved Plet from the first visit years ago, had a nice evening with life music, Plet has lots to offer and we always had a wonderful time there, watched dolphins from
Enrico’ s and from main beach, had wonderful views from the wooden deck to the Indian Ocean, Pam was a wonderful host with lots of recommendations to all the choices around, the location is really fantastic and highly recommended to any visitor, Thomas & Birgit 

This is a very clean and comfortable bnb. The host was wonderful. I appreciate  the time she spent with us giving information and recommendations. The breakfast was fabulous. We loved the view from the patio. All in all a great stay.

In all my years as a tourguide, sleeping in many hotels and B&B's, I was surprised by the absolute profesionality and friendliness of every single person working there. The family atmosphere was astounding! Thank you so so much!!! I seriously recommend everyone to go stay there. For the lady in charge, the you for MY coffee!!!

We had a great stay there. Delicious breakfast, beautiful room and an absolutly lovely and friendly host. We got so many recommendations for visits, food and every other help, Pam was so great. Dear Pam, thank you so much for this lovely stay. Hope to see you once again. 

Had a great relaxing stay in this well run B&B, so close to Robberg beach which is perfect for walking, running and swimming. The lovely owner is so hospitable, and has thought of everything which you might need for a comfortable stay and also gave helpful ideas on what to do in Plett. We particularly enjoyed being offered a pot of tea on our return from outings, which we enjoyed on the big deck in front of the 3 guestrooms. The deck has a view of the sea and spaces for relaxing, and it's where breakfast is served in fair weather, sometimes there are dolphins to watch in the bay.  Highly recommended!

We stayed one night with this BnB Playground. It’s a beautiful place. Pam the owner is very nice and informative.  She introduced good restaurants and even called to make reservations for our dinner.  Breakfast was fantastic on the deck with ocean view and sunrise.  We loved the stay.  Lovely stay .  Highly recommended to stay here.

We have been coming to Plett for decades and for the last 10 years we have stayed in Pam Meara's Dolphin's Playground. We come all the way from Canada and we love it so much here we stayed for 7 weeks this time. Pam is a charming hostess and her staff are always friendly and efficient.  Pam has extensive knowledge of all the attractions and restaurants in the Plett area, and is always ready with a helping hand. On top of all that, the view of the bay from the rooms and deck is gorgeous, with frequent dolphin sightings...and even a whale from time to time. The beach and safe swimming are just 50m away. If you come, we strongly advise staying for at least a few days.

I had the chance to spend a night in this lovely B&B, very little time to enjoy a wonderful view on the bay with great sunset from the window of my super bedroom.
Everything has been perfect, starting from the location, the space available for all the guests, the extreme cleanliness as well all those details that make a difference when travelling starting from the heather (the outside temperature was "crispy") to the little treats before going to bed.
Pam has been a great host and at the sumptuous breakfast I had the pleasant surprise to see the flag of my country on the table as warm welcome.
A place that deserve more than a night !!!!

So when I saw the name of this place Dolphin’s Playground, my curiosity was awake! After we’d stayed one night, we were sorry we didn’t booked for more nights. The really friendly hostes Pam (what a doll) was very nice to chat with, we were curious about the place and the history of it. The veranda is HUGE for sunbathing! And a nice detail of the breakfast on the veranda is that you don’t have to wonder where to sit because Pam places little flags of your country on each table, HOW CUTE!!! Pam thanks again, love Kimo & Linda.

What a great place !!!

The Dolphin's Playground experience

This was an unexpected delight - from the warm and gracious welcome by owner/host Pam, to the very comfortable accommodation, to the "wall-to-wall" views of surely the most beautiful bay in all the world. The layout suited our family group of 6 adults perfectly - the 3 en-suite rooms opened up onto that deck. Adequate lighting and warnings were provided for the scheduled nationwide eletricity load-shedding; the rooms were serviced daily with a fresh supply of biscuits and beverages; each room had a mini-fridge to store personal stuff and we had a daily choice of English or German-style breakfasts with a fruit platter/cereals/yoghurt included. Pam was  attentive but not intrusive with loads of useful references. The site was perfect for a breakaway: a 2-minute walk to Robberg Beach which also meant we were all lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves at night. It is also perfectly named: every day we were treated to the sight of dolphins leaping, surfing and swimming, against the backdrop of lilac, sunlit mountains.

We stayed here for one night during our recent stay in South Africa. This B&B is located in close proximity to the ocean and you actually see the ocean and hear the waves from the big terrace - which I loved.
The landlady was off when we stayed there, but her stand-in was just as lovely. We felt welcome from the first minute and enjoyed our short stay. Our rooms were nice, well-furbished and clean with a nice amenity of coffee, tea and biscuits. They also have refrigerators if you want to store any food or enjoy a cold drink from the honesty bar. Breakfast was great as well, with lots of variety and even Nutella for the Germans who can't go on vacation without ;-)
