Spent 2 nights on the lodge...amazing silence from city noise ...just had birds sing to us, roosters waking us up, animals moving silently through the bush! Saw beautiful sunset on the ´´koppie´´ and the hosts were just absolutely amazing!! 
Spa treatment was a real ''Treat''....
If this is where you want to escape from city life for a weekend / mid week, then you should find yourself within 2 hours drive from OR Tambo, in this peace of heaven!!

Spent a pleasant weekend at Kaya Inkuni. Laetetia & Peet are wonderful hosts and are very proud of their establishment. Stayed in the bushcamp. Accomodation all you need for a short stay. Is a fridge and a bathroom and a coffee / tea station. Was a non catering unit but we took a portable braai with and own utensils and that did us for the first night. Had a lovely dinner on the second night. Price included a cooked breakfast that was nicely prepared. Didn't do any game viewing but they do provide. Located a short way off the N4. We arrived after a heavy rain storm so road was muddy but still driveable. Lodge was easy to locate. Is about an hours drive to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve while Akwaaba Predator Centre close by. If  however you want to just stay at the lodge they have nice swimming facilities and you can try a short hiking trail as well if you wish. Highly recommended and our thanks to Laetitia and Peet for a lovely weekends accomodation.

Definitely the friendliest and accommodating hosts we have ever came across! Thank you Peet and Laetitia for the special dinners and care for detail to make us feel welcome, we really enjoyed the stay. Convenient rooms and the location is perfect away from the city rush. The couples massage is really recommended!

My sister and brother inlaw had visited the Game Lodge a few weeks before and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. 
They recommended we bring my Fiances family from Italy to stay for the weekend. They absolutely loved it. We stayed in Hunters Rest, the family suite and we were more than comfortable (we understand that we were the last guests in here, they are changing this into a SPA). 

We had Breakfast and Dinner Prepared by their wonderful Kitchen Staff and it was delicious! 
We loved meeting their gorgeous Furball (their Bulldog) and their Rescue Kitten Tigger. 
We loved Tigger so much so that when Letitia mentioned she was looking for a new home for the kitten because she worries about her growing up among the wild cats on the farm and that her doggy isnt fond of the kitten, we immediately offered to adopt her as we had bonded with her over the weekend. 

Thank you for recommending the Predator Lodge to take the family to see as well. Although we are not always fond of seeing predators in captivity like that, we understand that they are doing their best to just give them a better chance at life after rescuing them from horrible situations. The Italian Family also got a better understanding of this too.

Thank you for everything you did for us and our family! For making sure everything was perfect and for even checking in after we left.

Just what we needed! Kaya Inkuni is the ideal place to rest & relax. Out in the bush, quiet, peaceful and remote. The owners/hosts Peet & Laetitia are so friendly and go beyond any expectation of making ones stay comfortable. The dinner of fillet steak on Friday night was delicious, it was cooked to perfection, just as requested! If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries and rest your soul, then look no further, Kaya Inkuni is for you! 

We had the most amazing two night stay at Kaya Inkuni. Peet and Laetitia are awesome hosts. Laetitia goes out of her way to make sure that you are happy and comfortable. We had the option of preparing our own braai, or eating in the dining room. We chose the latter and boy oh boy am I happy we did.
The food was top notch for breakfast, but they out did themselves for dinners.
We even had a swim in the " plaas dam " which I have'nt done for more than 50 years, and it was such fun. Beautiful views all around. Dam with ducks
What a happy place to be. Just loved it and will definitely be going back.

We needed to get out of the city for a few days and decided to visit Pilansberg and then travel and stay at this beautiful Game Lodge. It was well-worth the 1 hour drive. The owners Peet and Latetia were so accommodating, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the bush lodge log cabins, which have a bathroom en-suite, an aircon, ample parking, a communal bush kitchen and braai/Barbecue area. Dinner and Breakfast options are available on request but we decided to bring our own food and had a picnic on our patio. The value for money and beauty of this place is well-worth the visit. Keeping in mind that we went in off-peak season, the room chargers of between R800-R900 is a very reasonable price and breakfast is a mere R75 per person. Our parents that went the day before us had breakfast and they throughly enjoyed it. At night you can hear the impalas grunting and grazing and you can hear no other sounds except that of nature. We visited during rainy season, so it was pouring and bats decided to take shelter between the roof and insulation and we could hear them too. Remember to take mosquito repellent if you visit and if you are renting a car to visit Pilansberg or this lodge, I highly recommend a 4x4 or SUV would be best, a smaller car would work too but in the rainy season you need to drive carefully as all the other 4x4's pass you by. Lots to do at this lodge, bird watching, pool, snooker, bar, game drives, picnic, etc. We highly recommend this lodge.
