Penzión Sibír

Penzion Sibir at the base of the High Tatra Mountains, was an absolutely wonderful place. As a first-time solo traveler, the owner, Pavol, was a fantastic host. He speaks excellent English, as well as several other languages. Basically around the block from Pezion Sibir are a few restaurants, convenience stores, and a train stop. A ten minute walk with beautiful views takes you into the village center. Where you can find many restaurants, stores, ski rentals and entertainment. Penzion Sibir was pleasantly full over the weekend, and relaxingly quite during the week. Breakfast was delicious, the local cheese is wonderful. Rooms are spacious and modern. I would highly recommend not only the accommodations but also getting acquainted with the owner.
