The reviews I read about Orchid Al Mansour Hotel were not that good, however, I am more familiar with the area where it is located so I decided to book a room here. The receptionist on duty seems like a trainee but there was the manager, Mr. Osama, who pitched in so everything went smoothly with the check-in procedure. I was assigned to room no. 414 which is spacious enough and has a window facing the street and the Royal Saudi Air Force Officers' Club. The beds were comfortable. There was a bathtub at bathroom which gave me the opportunity to collect water to cool off before bathing since the water coming from the faucet was really very hot. The breakfast was served inside the room because it was still Ramadan, otherwise, the buffet could have been great. For the price I paid I consider this good value for money. Highly recommended.
