Very clean and comfortable rooms with staff that is always there to help you. It’s a nice place explore the town. A bit far from the centre, but it’s just a 10 minute drive. The breakfast wasn’t that great, but still decent. You also have a pool which is nice, but the water was a bit too cold.

Great for a one night stay

Honestly, I don't know where to begin! Vila Elisabeta is by far, the worst place where I ever stayed. The rooms are dirty, mold on the walls, broken toilets, unsafe wires are hanging from the lamps. The price for the room applies to a 4-star hotel, but this one should not even have a license to function. In our room it was never vacuumed under the beds, the wire from the lamp was pulled out and left hanging which is definitely a safety hazard, everything in the bathroom was falling apart, I tried to hang a towel and the bar fell on the floor. I should mention this was the room we got after we complained about the first one that had mold on the walls, broken toilet and one of the beds was missing a leg so they put 3 bricks underneath. All that being said about rooms, I will continue with public amenities... The outdoor pool was dirty, a lot of hair, insects etc. They advertise "sauna, indoor pool, fitness" - the sauna is not working, the fitness room is a dark and small room that has a big fitness ball, a ridiculously small treadmill and some weights and the indoor pool is beyond disgusting - the water is dirty beyond imagination and everything around is covered with black mold - huge health hazard!
The restaurant - all personnel is new, very young and clueless - it took 1 hour to get a lemonade and 2 hours to get the food we ordered, without any exaggeration!
Breakfast is on the house, pretty lame, the yogurt they served expired in April and we stayed there in August!

Clearly the owners of this place have no idea how Travel Industry works! By all means, please stay away from this place

One star is way too much for this place!

The prices are more higher than reality. The room was alright, but in three nights nobody has done cleanliness. In bathroom doesn't exist shower gel only a piece of soap. Tiny. We waited very long time in restaurant for our dinner and the prices were unjustifiably high. Not recommanded.

A mistake

We've traveled together with our friends (4-6 rooms) and our 1 year old baby. The room we'c stayed in was very dirty, had to repor this 2-3 times until I found theperson in charge (only explanation is thet there are no personnel). 
The comun areas are also not taking care off in a veeery long time, nothing like in the photos that they advertise. Bad choice, next time in Alba will stay away from this place :(

Dirty and not taking care off

And I also know that the standard in Romania is not very high, but this accommodation was just bad. I'll start with the room. The bathroom was poorly done. Here were hobby craftsmen at the factory. The toilet is shaking and the water comes only very sparingly from the supposed shower head. There was no possibility of darkness in the room. When the neighbor, probably a whole family, was unable to think of sleeping before the loud water noise. The buffet breakfast was just unsightly and the staff was just overwhelmed with the rush of guests.

I'm not spoiled.

The place needs to improve cleaning.  Furniture smells. Our room (no.1) was large but the balcony had as view the roof of the next building. The outside pool was functional and we had good time swimming. The food 'a la carte' was good. The breakfast is very basic and we there was no refill. If you come late in the morning it is possible to find only leftovers. You have to take the car to go to Alba Carolina, walking takes 30 minutes. So, it seems overpriced taking all into consideration.

What can I say? 
Only minuses.
- Without the functional pool (for it we chose this pension);
- Tasteless or not enough cooked food (liver);
- Bathroom: no freshener; soap and shampoo only on arrival;
- Cleaning: never; trash not removed; towels never changed;
- View: half wall, half deplorable;
- The terrace? Joke.
- Breakfast: weak. At 9:30 (lasting up to 10) you had to ask for food, because platters were empty.  Really!!!

The room was okay. As much as possible.

I made a mistake coming here. Nothing is how it looks (or like commercial).

The atmosphere was very appealing. Service at the reception was very friendly! We stayed two nights, but neither the bed was made nor the bathroom cleaned. It's a shame, because otherwise the hotel makes a nice and clean impression! The food was also very good!

It's a nice swimming pool, good breakfast.

I didn't want to write a bad review, they're good enough here. First impression is good, cozy leather furniture in the lobby, garden, swimming pool and some kind of spa, spacious room. But!!!!! There was a feeling that after the previous guests didn't even change sheets. The laundry is unfresh, the floor in the bathroom is filled with coca-cola. This erased all the positive things that are definitely in this hotel. And there could be candy.

Change it up a little bit!

At first glance this hotel looks very nice but the impression is very short,because in fact the decoration is very kitch The receptionist only speaks Romanian and doesn't understand anything.Our room which is supposed to be a suite is not clean,the carpets are dusty,the floor is obviously not cleaned(chewing gum- and cigarette ash).The biscorne bathroom and shower joints are completely moist.The outdoor pool is very dirty water.The dining buffet we are advised to have is poor and bad and in addition we have to suffer the very loud sound of the TV.
