After our last stay, this accommodation was a real boon. Manuel did everything to make the stay as beautiful as possible for his guests. Our apartment had enough room for suitcases and our belongings, there was a kitchen island with enough kitchen accessories to cook small meals, and a base of spices (salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, herbs) was available. Everything was very clean and beautifully modern, a small terrace was available to stay on. There was also enough space for parking and, very importantly, a large, soft bed. Since there can be a lot of moist air in the bathroom in August, we have enjoyed every day. There is also a super-wetter machine and a super-weather machine. There is also a supermarket in the interior of the continent, which is also a very diverse place to stay.

Perfect price-performance ratio

The apartment was located within easy walking distance of the town centre, and was well-appointed with everything that we needed to make for a very enjoyable stay. Our host (Manuel) was very pleasant and helpful and the view from the 5 apartments of the mountains was lovely. I liked Santana as was fairly quiet (except carnival day which was fun), but with plenty of facilities, including a large supermarket and numerous places to eat and drink. It was conveniently close to Levada Calde Verde walk which was stunning, and offered other local walks including some coastal ones. As keen walkers, we found Madeira in general an ideal destination with countless possibilities, and if we return then we would stay at Casa do Manuel again

Great Apartment, Great Location, Great Host

5 very comfortable side-by-side studios. impeccable cleanliness. convenient laundry room. Secure property, beautiful garden. We were not disturbed by noise. Hyper pleasant shower after a good hike. (Caldeira Verde nearby) Owner very present (there must be cameras in the parking lot).

Studio in excellent condition, modern and modern facilities, impeccable cleanliness, the space was extremely clean, organized, and flavored. A 5* note also for Mr. Manuel, very attentive, friendly and helpful host.

Excellent local accommodation

+: friendly accommodation, spacious apartment, private car park closed -: owner's dog barking in the middle of the night (not including neighbourhood dogs and courtyards that are not at noise level)
