I can't say it was easy to find the house, perched on the hillside above Covilhã, right next to the "Serra da Estrela" National Park. But it was worthwhile. I walked in (it was cold, about 3 degrees Celsius) and the fireplace was alight and the living room wonderfully comfortable. Climbinfg a flight of stairs I gor to my room: comfortable, warmed by a heater, with a bed that was not very easy to get out of in the morning. I was glad to have risked staying there and I most certainly will return...
