The cleanliness and poor condition of the room was a disappointment. A prior guest had kicked a hole in the bathroom door that could not be closed. The shower took a very long time to heat up. The kitchen floor was sticky. 
The manager was very nice though. For the price it was very disappointing.

A disappointment

The motel is pretty depressing It's clean, the beds are fine, but it's very old It's on the shore of a type of pond that's ruled by the tides, so almost all day, when the tide is low, the view is from a large mud terrain, no very degradable The location is more or less. No it's far away but you have to do everything by car. If you were flying to Tauranga, you'd look for accommodation near Mt Manganui.

Not very good.

This motel is very tired but our room was great for one night - very spacious indeed and had all we needed. Was very noisy at times, although not late at night. The water pressure in the shower is absolutely abysmal - made washing my long hair a real trial! The staff member we encountered was extremely friendly.

Friendly little motel with big comfy beds & very friendly & helpful staff. Shower was a little small for a fairly large fella but other than that the room was everything you'd  expect for the price you pay

Comfy abode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On first arrival our studio room smelt like smoke but we asked for another and were upgraded to a one bedroom unit. Staff were kind and accommodating. Room was very comfortable and warm as it was a very cold weekend. Had all the basics we needed. Easy check out and safe parking.

Comfortable, Warm, Reasonable Price.

Nice and clean condition. Shower needs upgrading in Unit 7, sofa bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, one single bed mattress had springs poking through. Had everything we needed for our 1 night stay.

First visit

We stayed in this property as we had a family wedding nearby. Thankfully it was only one night as the place is probably the worst motel I have had the misfortune to stay in.
First impression was the property is extremely tired and badly in need of a facelift and unfortunately that’s as good as it got. Paintwork was chipped stained and scratched throughout. The carpet was threadbare throughout. The windows were in need of a clean. The bathroom was extremely tatty and the shower had damaged walls and tray. The hot water took an absolute age to come through and water pressure in the shower was abysmal. In short the place was a dump.
The bad linen was clean and the beds were comfortable. The views across the estuary were lovely but distorted by the dirty windows.
It seemed the property was being used as emergency accomodation by WINZ clients which didn’t assist in the general demeanour of the property. 
If I could have given it a score of less than one I would have. 
LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!

Abysmal 

Unfortunately, getting to the last one in the full holiday season involves difficulties in finding a place to sleep in the center of Mt Maunganui, so in nearby Tauranga I find good accommodation in the Fountain Court Motel.
