Very friendly & helpful staff member. When picking our key up.

Very clean, very easy to check-in and check-out. I would recommend it

Private cabin with a full kitchen.  Area was quite and right by the beach.

Helpful recommendations for things to see and do

Convenient for aone night stopover on a tril down the west coast. Close to some awesome coastline and right on the seafront.

This place is very very cozy and clean. Well with the money

Walkable to the cavern, blowholes and pancake rock. Great location by the beach. Take a bottle of wine and sit on the picnic tables overlooking the ocean for sunset. Magical. Only negative is that there isn’t anything much within 30 miles, but the restaurant next door is great, and they sell wine by the bottle to take away. 🙂

This ocean front property is conveniently located to Pancake Rocks. The cabin location is ideal for touring in this area. The layout of the kitchen, bathroom, and living space is quite workable. The bedroom is a bit small but had a comfortable queen bed. The staff were very helpful and there was parking next to the cabin.  Highly recommend this location.

Right on the beach off highway 6 and around the bend from the Pancake Rocks and Cave attractions.  Room was clean and had bed and separate sitting area.  Wi-Fi for us was spotty at times.  Nearest restaurant down the road about 400 m where you also check-in.   We thought room was fine for a night’s stay.

It’s in a beach facing site but don’t expect to see the sea from the cabin. They are set in a pretty, leafy garden. Lovely and quiet. I think a coffee machine promised but cafetière & sachet of coffee very welcome. The most important thing is that the cabins & most accommodation is downhill by the sea and quite a walk from the spectacular blowholes, rocks and visitor centre which are together at the top of the hill in a different location.

Lovely room with small kitchen (which we did not use). Great location. Small bed for 2 persons, but there was a small single that my wife used. Shower was okay. Short walk to a nice restaurant and bar with a great vibe. A little confusing with address, because you have to check-in at the above mentioned restaurant.

Overall it’s good and location is the draw card. Could have been a bit cleaner in side, dusting etc. Otherwise great.Note a cabin we had  at the only pub in town before this accommodation was woeful, dirty, lights not working terrible bed and useless shower so beware, and we paid close to the same price! The pub handle the key collection and booking for the motel.

	•	Some units are slightly dated, but the charm and cleanliness more than make up for it. And have no aircon so of it’s a hot day then you’ll need to open the windows

Comfortable stay on the coast

You have to book in at the hotel 400 meters down the road. Cabin we had fine for the two of us and faced west overlooking the ocean giving us fantastic sunsets.The downside is that it’s situated nearly 50 kilometres from the neatest store. Only the hotel is near for dinner but is a bit expensive and limited choice. Truman trail,River walk and the Pancake Rocks are not to be missed..

Best Sunset in New Zealand

We were initially very disappointed when we arrived at our Tui cottage to find it wasn’t overlooking the beach as it appears on the advertising photos. We were SO looking forward to being in front of the beach not behind other units and trees. But the cottage itself was very well equiped, clean and comfortable and we could hear the waves at night.

Not really a beach front motel more of a close to beach motel.

We were given an upgrade at no extra charge meaning we had very spacious accommodation. The unit we stayed in for 3 days was the unit for persons with disabilities and we found this very easy to use. The only down side was the sofa (pull out bed) was uncomfortable to sit on and was the only lounge seating.
