I stumbled on this hotel by chance an Iam I ever lucky. Beside the most beautiful views of the mountains a the tasty food. The hospitality of this hotel was 5 star I stayed an extra night. Thank you Ram an the staff for making my stay unforgettable

One of the best hotels i have visited in nepal, the view is amazing, one if the best views , very nice hospitality, the staff are very nice and very friendly, food is really good . Would definetely recommend it for everyone. Felt like home. Will come back very soon

The room was big and comfortable and the view was spectacular. We had a deck to sit out on and enjoy the view and watch the sunrise from. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and both were very good. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Nagarkot. 

my wife, 10 month old and I have been in Nagarkot for a week, something people are always surprised by. We have seen many rooms and eaten at many places and so we can understand their surprise. In general my thoughts on Nepal are: high price and low quality (should have gone to Thailand).

Service-
As the other reviews will agree, the service here is great. Such a pleasure to speak with the manager and staff. Prokash was always attentive and helpful with a smile, the restaurant was always well laid and we felt very comfortable to approach him for help at any time. Of course the hotel was quiet during our stay, but you can tell it was his pleasure to make the guests as comfortable as possible.
All staff were also great with our daughter, the hotel was baby friendly with all terraces and balconies, being well secured, allowed her to crawl around without concern of accident. 

Food-
We were meant to leave Nagarkot 2 days ago feeling run down and like we have only eaten expensive vegetable oil for the last week (our diet is normally very healthy, Nepalese food is not), This hotel made us extend our return ticket to Thamel and stay two more days. 
We thought we would treat ourselves to a more upmarket hotel, with Himalaya hotel next door and Paradise behind (each costing 4000 min a night) I was happy to see the food here was only 50-100npr more per dish than the shack dhaba style eateries. But what a difference for the price.
people saying the food here isn't good clearly didn't eat any where else in Nagarkot as in comparison it is amazing.

I highly recommend the Nepali Thali, for 400npr it was enough for my wife and I both (though we ordered an extra dish to make up for our past small meals). Each dish served with it was flavoursome and a delight. It was the first time in Nepal that we found a significant difference to the use in spices to Indian food, also the range of veg was much better than other eateries we'd tried here (which mainly stick to potatoes and cauliflower). We had both the veg and chicken thaili in our stay here, both were amazing. we also had lasagne- more like flat pasta, but very tasty and large portions. We paid to have breakfast included and no doubt this was worth the money. 500npr between us for full breakfast with tea and porridge, this would have cost us at least 700 any where else and not have had the same quality. Also the first day we asked for the toast to be toasted more, the next day it was perfect and Prokash wanted to check that it was to our liking, there was always this sense of personal care.

Rooms-
The room we stayed in was 2000npr a night + 500 to include breakfast.
This is a reasonable price for area and the view of the himalayan range was fantastic, especially for sunrise. 
Our room was very clean (it is an older building than those sprung up around it so there is wear), the sheets soft and warm through the night.
There was a double and a single bed in the room, storage space, a carpeted balcony, heavy curtains that kept the light out well and a tv, which we didn't turn on but assume it worked :)
The bathroom attached had hot water, and i mean actually HOT water. They had solar and gas geyser. We've been in Asia for over 6 months, this was the best shower I've had in that time by far and I've stayed in the Grand Hyatt in Muscat, this had pressure and heat, it was heaven!

wifi worked in the grounds and rooms, it wasn't always on when the power went out but was a lot of the time, and guaranteed after sunset as the generator would go on each night.

We are now in Thamel but may return for our last 2 nights in Nepal as it's the way we'd like to remember our time here.

Better will be going for long stay..All type of management (barbicue,campfire and many others)

The main thing I loved must about this hotel is its at the top and can see the  natural beauty of nepal...

Went here along with my family. They all really enjoyed a lot and liked this hotel a lot. Staff was very gracious and always standing with a smile. Rooms were neat and clean. View from our balconies was awesome but with a fraction of second everything got drapped in dense fog. Well happy we stayed here.

I was in a doubt when I did the booking. When I reached first, we were well greeted which makes the trip most comfortable. So a good start! A welcome tea served for free. The rooms were nice too. The view from the rooms located at the northern side is simply mind blowing. If you are a morning person don't miss the sunrise. Food wasn't bad either. Very reasonable rate. Spent less than expected. I really appreciate the hospitality of the owner Mr. Makaju for trying to connect with the guests. After all it already has been 21 long years... I would recommend.

The rooms are def not the reason to stay in this hotel... they are in need of a good clean - and then probably decorating. However it gets a good rating because the views are amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was surprisingly good, surprising because my first impression of the restaurant was not good, it smelt musty and it felt like no one had eaten there for a long time.
