My favourite country, its a the best experience of my life. These guys are best ever, so selfless, so friendly! Food is amazing, the culture is very unique, very smiling ppl, very hospitable. I would go again.

Best experience of my life! Rode a camel in the desert along the amazing dunes watching the sun set, got to the beautiful camp,set in ours tent, had a great dinner and watched the stars next to the fire dancing along the sounds of the drums.!  Ready to go back! Amazing!

The only downside was the accompanying people who insisted on loud chatter and sarcastic comments which, in our opinion, were offensive to our amazing guides.
We felt safe and in good hands in the beautiful desert, and once the others went to sleep, we stayed up with the guides playing drums, telling stories, watching "desert movies" (feeding the fenec foxes) and looking at the stars and that experience was one of the best in my life.

The accomodation was fantastic - a 4 bed tent to the 2 of us and a western-style toilet in a cosy atmosphere

There are a host of Camel Camps to choose from - this is a once in a lifetime experience that shouldn't be missed!  We road camels out (2 hours each way) on the dunes to a camp and spent the night in a snug warm tent! After dinner, we walked without lanterns across the top of the dunes, laid in the soft sand and looked at the constellations.  It was an evening I will never forget!

I spent 3 weeks in Morocco with friends back then in 2008 and after traveling by car and after visiting all the major interests places by ourselves, we were so lucky to meet Jounes, a kind guy working for Camel Safari Camp which leaded us in a beautiful yet small resort at the border of the Desert.
That was a lucky shot after a tour de force touching Marrakech, Fes, Midelt, Ouarzazate, El Rachidia and a lot of other small villages. 
Way before guiding us in the small resort, our guide guided us all the way through Midelt, showing us the beauty of that almost abandoned place and introucing us a local family, which invited in for dinner and gave us hospitality for the night. for free. We could appreciate the goodness and warm hug of the local people, and learn how to get back in touch with a simple life. We also played a soccer match with some El Rachidia military troops transiting there in Midelt at that time!!!!
But it was only when we reached the Resort that we went nuts (positively!!!) and could finally rest in a beautiful room, with all the comfort of typical beds and the possibility to have an idyllic dinner with local vegetables, fruits and the company of our guide himself. Which of course managed everything for us, from reservation to organizing the next day walk in the desert riding camels.
Especially for the latter one, the organization was simply perfect. And flawless. We had been able to taste the hot weather in the middle os the sand dunes, and spent the night in tent with locals drinking tea, and eating and talking....until the next morning. When we had the privilege to see the sunrising sitted down on top of sand dunes.
We waited for the sun to warm us again after a cold night. And went back to the resort before the sun was getting too hot.
The Camel Safari camp was crucial for the organization, and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without being so worried about reservations...getting food... and such. Our guide took care of everything and made us feel at home, loved and cared.

NOTE - Everything took place in August 2008. I had to put August 2015 just because trip advisor do not let me put in such an old date. But SINCE 2008 Camel Safari Camp take care of their guests in a marvellous way!!!!

I traveled two times with Jonas around Morocco and spend some night on his camel safari camp in the desert . Both travels with this guy were interesting. Jonas is interesting man. Every time he has great ideas about how to spend the time. He is very clever and smart and we always had many things to talk about. We were never bored together. I really would recommend Jonas as a guide and as well a travel comrade.
