I stayed here for 4 nights in June of 2019 while travelling with a few friends who I was studying abroad with. There were about 8 of us and each of us absolutely adored this hostel. The staff is among the friendliest I've ever met in my life, and even all the travellers in the hostel were so friendly and wonderful. The rooftop is absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms are clean and safe. I will definitely return to this hostel after the pandemic. I cannot recommend Melting Pot more. I absolutely love it.

My Happy Place

We were staying with a friend and I. I took the hostel by airbnb because it had an offer, but it was too late. The hostel is close to the port, so the location for what I needed was good in that sense. We were warned not to go to an alley that was right next to the hotel door, so that we might want new experiences but no further explanation was given... We still doubt that this is exactly what happened. When we arrived it was ready to enter the room, so we left our bags and went for a ride. When we returned there was a girl in our room. The first surprise was that there was no bathroom, I thought, yes, in the first floor we had a bathroom so I think there were more than 10 people, and then there was a bathroom in the final bathroom, so that the bathroom was there, so you could go to the bathroom, so you had to go to the bathroom, so you had to go to the most dangerous places, so if you want to go to the most dangerous places, you can get to know the best places, and if you want to go to the most dangerous places, you can get to the

The worst we've ever stayed in Morocco.

We could not have been happier with our choice to stay at the Melting Pot. The room was a very fair size, clean, and beautifully decorated. Sophia (spelling) was incredibly welcoming host and so fun to be around. We participated in the family dinners which were delicious, and the entire staff as a whole was friendly and a delight to spend time with. If/when we return to Tanger, we will absolutely be staying here again. 

Absolutely wonderful stay

It's hard to do better at this price!!! Very nice place, well maintained, super team that gives a soul to this house. First impression but very quickly, I loved it. The welcome with city plan and advice, the terrace with a very appreciated view, the conviviality of the evening meal, the mega breakfast.... and especially the CALM of the night!!!!!!!!! Sleeping well in the bedroom, it's surprising (and appreciated) to all the team Thank you

That's great.

I spent two nights in the Melting Pot in my room alone. The first night it went pretty well. But the next day I started to feel itching in my back. What a surprise when I went back to the hotel for my last night when I saw huge bumps on my back, arms and legs that caused me to have severe itching. The day we left, a pharmacist clearly told us that it was bed bug bites and I was having an allergic reaction to it.

Watch out for bed bugs!

I went to this hostel because I was staying with a group of fellow International Cooperation Masters fellows I stayed on the ground floor and there were fleas, they stabbed me in the neck, hand and feet.

The pulgas are pulgas.

I want to thank the friendly staff of the hostel for helping me with a solution for me and my bike.

Very helpful staff

The hostel has everything you need, set in the heart of the Medina, they tour you around, go to the market, cook and eat together. I've never stayed in a hostel quite like this and all others will have trouble matching. This for me wasn't just a bed and a roof it was a home and the staff were like family. Big shout-out to Badr, Dalal, Iván, Abdou, Suphian, Kouakou, Zakaria and the lovely ladies that kept the hostel clean. Thank you guys for everything!

This place was great the staff are the best they go above and beyond to make sure everything is good and arrange activities that include everyone. the atmosphere is incredible The other guests also awesome got some good Moroccan travel tips. It really did feel like family there I made some new friends and had a great experience I stayed a few extra days The terraces had amazing views its in a convenient location big shower room lots of hot water beds in dorm were good I'm missing my tangier family

Best staff

+ Location. In the center of the medina + Excellent staff care + Terrace. Incredible view of the medina and surroundings. It is located there. A luxury. + Breakfast. Local typical. Completely and without lack or excess. - Location. Not recommended to arrive at night. Difficult to get to the medina.
