The restaurant at Cielo Beach Club had the most tender, delicious fish and shrimp! It's a small, unassuming restaurant that should not be missed if you are a seafood lover. They welcomed us in our casual clothes and set up a table right on the beach for us. We started off with a refreshing and hearty ceviche which was a huge portion for 4 people! Then we tried the different types of fish: garlic fish with toasted, crunchy bits of garlic on top, the warm, rich, and smokey-spicey sauce on the Diablo fish, and the lightly seasoned Achiote fish as well as the crunchy bacon-wrapped enormous shrimp. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Nothing was over-cooked or dry. They have moved out of the Cielo Beach club by the time of this review to the hotel just north of the Cielo. Don't miss it! And for the ceviche app for four, 4 fish dinners 4 sodas and 2 beers it was about $60 US dollars.
