The Cigno Hotel is a beautiful oasis in central Merida.  The room was large, beautifully appointed and well air-conditioned.  The food at the restaurant was excellent-modern Mexican cuisine.  We felt one of the best part of the experience was the staff.  They were friendly, helpful and very gracious.  You cannot go wrong staying at this excellent small hotel.  We had a very positive experience at Cigno Hotel.

What a lovely stay!  The staff was super attentive but also let us enjoy the ameneties.  We had the rooftop pool all to ourselves one day.  What a treat!  Gorgeous property.  Stay here if you can!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The building itself, a nineteenth century casona, was beautifully renovated into one of the best boutique hotels my family and I have stayed at. The staff was amazing, professional, and friendly. Perla, Esteban and Victor, and Vanessa went out of their way to make our stay a relaxing and culturally-enriching experience. Can't wait to go back to Merida and stay there once again.

10/10 one of the best stays i’ve ever had at a hotel.  I did not want to go home for maybe the first time ever. food was greatservice was greatrooms were so comfortable and well appointed. IM OBSESSED. currently averaging about 10 nights a month in hotels for work and this is easily the most comfortable place i’ve been in over a year.

The property is amazing. Very nice curated and the food, scents and amenities are great. Definitely a come back. It is not walking distance from downtown but a short Uber ride can fix it. Totally recommended!

The hotel is fairly nice, but expensive for what you get. Staff is attentive and friendly but the rooftop pool has no service so you’re on your own if you want food or drink. They try to follow you around but you can be waiting for service some times. It’s a bit out of the way but 15 minute drive to town. They keep it very clean! A nice quiet hotel. They need to setup a WhatsApp service for concierge and service.

I can’t imagine a better home base for exploring Merida. The hotel is a total oasis from the heat of the city streets, and I personally really liked the location, even if it’s a bit off the beaten tourist path. Room was extremely comfortable, food in the restaurant was delicious, and the pools are a delight! Service left nothing to be desired. ¡Maravilloso!

I would like to add something which Orbitz should address, although not related to the hotel Cigno.The car rental through Orbitz is great but the insurance rate one has to pay locally in Merida is over 100.00 per day US for a small car. I believe travelers should be warned about it!!!!!Thank you for sending this up the latter

Off the beaten path but once you realize you are...wow...you have a new appreciation for this fine hotel. Brand new hotel...but obviously not new to the industry....Carolina...the pearl of the hotel. Every staff member goes the distance for your total comfort. I wish them great sucess and I'm so excited to return
