Really good, clean hotel with pleasant and helpful staff.  Rooms are well equipped and well air-conditioned. Close to Kintetsu and 15min walk from JR station. Choice of Japanese or Western style breakfast - both are good.

But,there high flour was silent,I could sleep well.

Rooms are clean and small as you expect from these hotels.  Very close (2 minutes walk) to the Kintetusu Yokkaichi station.  Great wireless for Japanese business hotels, Friendly and efficient staff (which you may not be used to in this type of hotel).  Decent breakfast, not a bad price.

I cannot see any reason to visit Yokkaichi except for business, this is not a tourist hotel, but they are adept at english. The men at the front desk and the girls in the restaraunt are very friendly and helpfull.

This is a nice business hotel at Yokkaichi, few minutes of walk from the station.
Rooms are small as in most Japanese business hotels, but are clean.
Internet works well.
Breakfast is not buffet but you have to decide if you wish to have a western bearfast, Japanese breakfast or OKAYU (Japanese) breakfast.

Not bad for a typical business hotel in Japan

First and foremost this is a BUSINESS hotel. Do not mistake it for anything else. If you're one of the rare few who actually wants to vacation in Yokkaichi, do yourself a favor and stay at the Miyako Hotel down the street.

That said, this hotel isn't all bad. If you're a regular (which most people staying here are) the hotel staff will have you checked-in with keys in hand in less than a minute. If you're a foreigner, one of the staff members should be able to speak English, which is a rarity in Japan's smaller cities. The free wifi, though unsecured, is one of the fastest connections you'll probably ever encounter at a hotel. The restaurant offers a couple decent albeit expensive options for breakfast, including a Western-style bacon and eggs plate. Finally, the front desk has a surprising number of "things" available for loan (cell phone chargers, printers, etc.)

The main gripe that everyone tends to have is the condition of the rooms. I've stayed in about 15-20 different rooms at this hotel over the past couple years and they all unfailingly have the same problems: cigarette burns on bedsheets (even in non-smoking rooms!), strange looking stains on carpet, thin walls, excessively cold/hot AC in summer/winter, faulty showerheads, funky smells... just an overall feeling of old and uncleanliness.

If everything else is full and you HAVE to be in Yokkaichi, then looks like you'll have no choice. Otherwise, the 30 minute train ride to Nagoya might be worth the hassle if you want a better place to stay.
