46 reviewsGojo Annex is a guesthouse with a soul. Old house, great location in Gion, extremely helpful and good English speaking receptionists. They helped me a lot when I've got problems with my leg and needed to go to a hospital. It's place with shared bathroom so definitely not for everyone but I've never waited for shower. What's more there is also fully equiped kitchen. You can not only use plates or pots but also Japanese tea or seasoning. They have a list of recommended bars and restaurants, sell bus ticket and organise free walking tours for guests. On the day of my arrival I could take part in such walk and it gave me a lot of insight in Kyoto sights and places worth visit. Plus we saw a lot of maikos and geisha :) And was explained about differences between them so later I could differentiate early who I'm passing by. I stayed in nice western style room with an armcher :) Wi-Fi was the best one I had in places I stayed in Japan. One big yes, fully recommended and arigato for everything you done to help me!
