Very small room and noisy train station in the background. But it was very nice for 1 night and the price. All clean, friendly and really near to sightseeing spots!

The staff is friendly. It is near Hakata station so you can  walk between the hotel and the station easily.

The staff in front the front desk are nice . They helped me printed documents that I really need the day I’m there . Thank you so much . The location is perfect too near the shopping mall and a lot of restaurants. Thank you so much again. I will be back again there for sure .

The room was a bit small for my suitcase. But overall experience is good, the staff are nice, room is clean and location quite close to the station.

The hotel's location is convenient, close to the metro station and bus terminal. The river view is good!

Tho the room is small, the facilities are clear. Also, the service is excellent and staffs are friendly.

The concierge staffs were very caring and polite, they had great handover between shifts; I had several packages from friends and another hotel that required payment(着払い), the staffs remembered me and my request so there wasn’t any miscommunication, I was able to get all parcels smoothly. Hotel is very close to the bus terminal and the train station. Apartment style architecture. The room was a bit small though, I cannot imagine having two suitcases opened in the room. The green tea they bring in every day were really nice, I ended up buying more at the supermarket.

Hotel Third Place Hakata is a neat and friendly hotel. The property is clean, but is a bit far from the station. About 10 minutes walking distance. Also, the basic room is very tight and small. If you have too much luggage, you must put things under the bed; otherwise, there is literally no space. However, my room and hotel were immaculate, and the air purifier was available to use. It offers practically everything.If you are looking affordable, clean and friendly hotel, I definitely recommend you

I did not have a reservation and just walked in having found a hideous capsule around the corner I refused to stay at. I asked how much for a room and they said 4,700 Yen which was perfect within my budget. They took payment by credit card and gave me a free water bottle (which isnt cheap in Japan!)
One of the ladies spoke perfect english and was giving me directions to the ferry port for the next morning. The place is only mins from Hakata stn and backs onto the railway tracks so there is some noise though the trains do not run at night. 
The room was quite nice and compact. There was a bed and flat screen satellite tv. Decor was a bit dated but comfort, location, safety, price were my main factors. 
The bathroom has an outer room with the toilet and sink. The inner bathroom is the shower room. You have a choice of western style tub or sit down on stool asian style bathing. You might as well use the asian style as the tub is barely 4 ft long. 
I had a very comfortable stay considering I didnt have a reservation and this was a walk in. It was perfect within my budget, quality, and location preferences. 
I walked to the ferry port, which you can do along the river as I had to be there at 7.30am. They were explaining the bus routes to me at reception but I had walked from the port to Hakata stn when I arrived so didnt mind walking back to save money. If you have luggage its too far to walk, I just had a backpack. 
Lots of tv channels available. The building is a triangle with and open roof. All the floors face down to the central atrium. May be problems during rainy season as the interior hallway has no roof. They were serving breakfast in the morning but I had to leave to get to the port. Three convenience stores are outside and there is a map in the elevator showing you where. 
I was the 10th floor which is the top floor so had good panorama view of night skyline and sunrise
