Residence with swimming pool 500 metres from the beautiful sea of Follonica. large, clean apartment with private garden; there were some kitchen accessories missing. The owners are kind and available to the needs of the guests.

We were so eager to visit the village and enjoyed it so much that we will definitely return, probably in a plan with more friends!

I'm very happy with it.

It was a great success to book in Borgo Valmarina the third week of August.One of the cheapest places in Follonica and with a very good price-quality ratio.The staff is very friendly, the apartments are spacious and charming, the beach is only 500 meters away and we also rent bicycles.In addition, it was very clean and disinfected, which in times of coronavirus is very quiet.We hope to repeat.

We stayed at this property in the last week of August. The reception staff are kind, but unfortunately not the owner who met us 2 times in 7 days and never even greeted us... The apartment was nice only externally. The interior was old, bathroom with antiquated sanitary facilities and not working properly. The kitchen is old and not well provided. The bedrooms are really essential and the beds are broken down. The cleanliness of the apartment when we arrived was almost zero as there was still sand in the shower, as well as on the floors and because of the ants we had to remove what was attractive to her: from the bottom of the loaf a positive note goes to the actors and the clean pool. The area is equipped with a few lighting and some mobile games (like the St. Stephen's) are 15 minutes away from the sea and the sun is not moving at night.

I'll remember the beautiful sea!

Beach is great and food is good all over the area. However the apartment needs significant refurbishment and we had people fixing a/c twice. Mattress and beds are to be replaced and humidity are an issue. We had to change apartment after one week as the one we were given was really busy and noisy by night as it was in front of the restaurant.Still the owner understood the case and provided a 10% discount at the end of the stay. One member of the staff threw us homophobic insults right at the end of the stay and we had to denounce the fact to authorities. The owners apologized sincerely but the guy is still there and does not look like anything will change. Not the holidays we were expecting.

Average and be aware of some aggressive staff

Resort requires significant improvements: we had 2 visits from A/C maintenance, mattresses bended and even broken, non functioning kitchen, old and poorly maintained bathrooms, outdoors table broken, dirty garden. We were there for 2 weeks and had to change apartment because the initial one was super noisy as it was in front of the main entrance and the restaurant.
Still, the owner acknowledged the issues and gave US a 10% discount, so we ended up paying more than 130 eur / day for a 2 rooms + kitchen apartment. I would have left it there.
But last day we were insulted by a member of the staff and we ended up in the police station denouncing a homophobic aggression upon the authorities. On their favor I have to mention the owner and the managers apologized several times for this on a sincere way and I believe they were really sorry. I don’t blame them for this episode. However it is simply not affordable that in 2021 someone like that is kept in service after insulting clients. I hope they are taking measures as appropriate. Other than this episode, rest of personnel was gentle and correct towards us. 


Not recommended - resort needs major refurbishment and we were insulted by a member of the staff 

We were on vacation at the property in the first decade of August, a lovely village, ground-floor apartments with a small garden, poor interior furnishing, broken mattresses, broken-down mattresses, stained-glass bed linens, very stained and swapped-out couch upholstery, fatigued cabinets, dated kitchen furniture and small number of dishes.

We're not going back.

It's the second year we're here and we've found ourselves even better than the first,n you expect in the village, in luxury and refinement but simplicity and convenience,it has a swimming pool suitable for children,a restaurant and the sea in a minute and I swear a minute's drive, timed!the car you take xké you have to cross the old Aurelia and if you have a dog and you can't go to the equipped establishments you have to bring your equipment and walk it hard,the parking lot is wide and free on Via Italia the long-term and entering the naval league you find the dog beach,the apartments are real and in a bungalow of tin,or on the first floor with balcony with table and seats to eat x,or in the backyard with a kitchen, it's located between the two new apartments, but the third floor is also the most competitive, especially the Kev Kev, but the third floor is the most competitive, and the third floor is also the most expensive.

The house by the sea without buying it

Excellent location with well-maintained walled villas with everything you can serve, well-stocked kitchen, weekly laundry service, garden adjacent to the villas, there is also a refurbished guest house where you can stay, quick and present receptions, possibility of renting bicycles, large parking, restaurant, swimming pool... from the village to the sea you can easily walk... in 15 days of vacation never taking the car... Excellent prices, quiet location,
