Thank you everyone at Montecristo, once again we had a wonderful stay. We have been coming to stay for a number of years and we are always made to feel incredibly welcome. Abramo, the new manager, really knows how to keep his guests happy, and all the hotel staff, from the reception desk to the poolside staff to the gentleman that collects our luggage to the ladies that clean and tidy our rooms, to the maitre and his team, to the night Porter, are so professional,  helpful and friendly. The chef is grand and the food is delicious, and we are always grateful when you accommodate our off menu requests!! The hotel is very clean and well kept, the pool is a joy and a welcome respite from the scorching beach and with it being 30 seconds walk from the sea, you can literally dip in from one to the other. It’s is also perfectly placed for evening walks into Marina di Campo where crepes and ice creams are a must. We were very sad to leave and  we  can’t wait to come again next year! Thank you! 

Great hotel, amazing staff, fab pool and delicious food!

Definitely a great place to stay. Beautiful view over the Marina di Campo bay. Great breakfast. Staff is the great plus of this hotel. They were more than helpful in accommodating all our request.
The pool bar is just in front of the beach and it’s been great to have a few cocktails at sunset.
Parking place is spacious and the overall condition of the hotel is just spot on.

Great staff and remarkable view.

We spent a wonderful week here in this well-maintained hotel. Our room with a large balcony was right above the pool overlooking the sea. We heard the sound of the sea and in half a minute we are at the beach. The room has all the amenities needed, everything is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly (and speaks German well at the reception). The breakfast was delicious and abundant, we could also eat al fresco. Parking lots (overlooked) are located in front of the house. At the pool there is a bar where you can eat small things during the day. We can really only recommend the hotel directly. It also had many Swiss guests during our stay.

Large location and excellent price-performance ratio

Modern and well-positioned beachfront structure on the bay of Marina de Campo, beautiful terraced room with wonderful sea and mountain views, excellent services, breakfast and restaurant of excellent level dined really well.

Great hotel in the best location - the room was perfect and clean - the staff was as always very friendly - excellent kitchen with a creative chef - for me the hotel on Elba.

Super hotel in the best location

Excellent seaside resort, small but comfortable and clean standard room, refined kitchen, hospitality and availability Top. Very convenient also the pool and its bar service with excellent appetizers to enjoy sea view. No service is missing. Highly recommended for a relaxing couple holiday

Comfort and relaxation

We've been staying at the Hotel Montecristo every summer for three years now. We're a tribe... four adults, three twins and six dogs... always thanks to the management who gives us the opportunity to stay... here we are fine, very well! Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Gentle and available staff. Great breakfast, dinner with lots of choice.

It's always amazing!

The hotel - especially the pool - overlooks the beach directly, so it is very convenient to alternate between the sea and the pool, without the need for movement, clothing, etc. I read about a previous review that the sea would be bad: I think there are only three possibilities for writing something like this: 1) the person has been there for 1-2 days during a tidal wave; 2) the person thought he was in Polynesia and had the wrong address; 3) the person is in bad faith. Evidently a recent renovation, so the environments are modern and comfortable. All the staff are very kind and efficient. Last but not least: thanks to chef Alessandro, with extensive international experience, the kitchen is a true flagship of the hotel, very clean and refined.
