It seemed to me a very practical accommodation: not in the centre of town (where I suppose there must be quite a bit of a hustle and bustle, looking at Killarney's hustle and bustle) but a short walk away. Super quiet, given a few gardens where you can't hear anything. Rooms spacious enough, comfortable, perfectly cleaned, breakfast very good. It has a common room with very comfortable sofas. The rooms are spread over 2 floors, and the ones on the ground floor have little privacy, as this is where it happens all the time. Free private parking.

How, centric and quiet accommodation.

This was our second visit to The Garden this year and as before it was perfect.
We booked 2 rooms this time and both were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were on the bottom floor which meant we virtually parked outside the room and as we had sizeable bags this too was great.
Lovely breakfasts each morning over looking the garden.

Lovely rooms and great breakfast.

There are advantages and disadvantages. Pro: - large, warm, clean room. Staff refurbish the room every day. - OTTIMA position, the car park is inside the structure on the garden, you're two steps from the center without hearing the noise of traffic, the b&b being a bit sloppy. Counter: - Despite what you read in other reviews, I wouldn't recommend breakfast. It's a very poor choice compared to other b&b, with low-quality products.

I mean,

The Gardens B and B is a superb place to stay. The breakfasts are plentiful and staff are efficient and friendly along with the proprietors. It is minutes walk from the town and the accommodation is lovely overlooking the grounds. I fully recommend this place.


Great place and conveniently placed to all amenities.

The staff were lovely as were the grounds. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants.

Writing this review on behalf of my parents who I booked to stay here for a wedding they were going to in Killarney. They stayed for 3 nights and were so pleased with it; location food, hospitality, all perfect - they couldn't praise it enough!

A gem!

Room was comfortable. Hosts were pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast and reasonable rates. What more could you ask for?

This property was so close to everything and the owners were so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast a great place to stay

Super-friendly and helpful staff, rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, and the hotel is well situated - about a 10-minute walk from the bus and train stations and just a few minutes into the heart of killarney.

Nice breakfasts - they include a continental buffet and cooked options, served from 8am-10am (I was kindly offered a pre-made breakfast when I thought I might have to leave much earlier).

Overall, a good value option that I would book again.

Good value and very welcoming

We had to travel at very short notice to Kerry for a Funeral and we were very fortunate to stay at The Gardens.
We couldn’t have been looked after better or made more welcome. Sandra had to make a few last minute changes to her plans to get us in and whilst she apologised for what she described as a smaller room, no apology was necessary as it was perfectly adequate for our stay. 
When we arrived we had been trying to arrange Flowers for the Funeral and had been having an issue doing so, however, before we had even checked in Sandra had called the florist and resolved the problem.

We also had a lovely breakfast each morning with a bright and homely room which over looks the Garden. 

The Gardens are perfect for strolling through and around Killarney. Our Funeral was at the Cathedral which was a very short walk away. It’s a magnificent building and worth a visit.

Thanks again to Sandra, John and all the staff. We hope to be back again for a holiday later this summer.
