Seanor House Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I stayed at Seanor House with a friend for an overnight stay on our motorcycle tour of Ireland. Sean made us feel so welcome, cooked us a lovely  breakfast and went out of his way to get soya milk and dairy free butter for us. A 10 min walk from the town where there are lots of eating places, Sean ordered a taxi for us as it was raining and we walked back. I can recommend this B&B and will stay there again on another trip to the area. 



We arrived the night before the hurricane. Sean is a very friendly and helpful host, who wanted us to take the fear of the hurricane and assured us, that we can stay a day longer with no problem. At arrival he made us a nice cup of tea and brought us some biscuits. He was very uncomplicated with breakfast and said, he will be ready whenever we are. He made us a nice Full irish and a porridge with a hint of baileys ;) He even offered us some home made scones. 
During the storm he made sure, that we were okay, came various times to ask us, if we wanted something to drink or eat and was really nice in sharing a chat and his living room with us.
Sean, we really liked our stay in your house! Thank you so much for all your hospitality and how you took care of us.

This place is all about Sean. He is the heart and soul of this B&B and boy, does he do a great job. His breakfasts are very good; his secret is top quality bacon and sausages; you can easily tell on the plate.
he always likes a chat and is a fountain of knowledge on any family within 10 miles and can tell you all the best places within 30 miles.
Sean is also a member of Ballybunion Golf Club and can arrange a good deal for you on many surrounding courses.
Oh! and the rooms are very comfortable!

Just arrived back in Nottingham after a lovely week. Sean is an excellent host who "goes the extra mile". Lovely quiet location with great views. Room and bathroom very clean and bed comfortable. I suffer with arthritis so was pleased to have a ground floor room. Very close to Ballybunion with its excellent beaches and golf course. Almost every time we returned Sean welcomed us with tea and biscuits. He is also a good cook and breakfasts were great,

We had a wonderful two day stay with Sean in his lovely home of the right on the road out of town (Ballybunion).  The rating would be a five except for the location as to enjoy the two you needed to drive in and that was unexpected.  Sean is a wonderful host, especially if you are into golf.  He even offers to take you out for a round.  My husband loved chatting with Sean about golf and even spent part of one evening watching a tournament on tv is the sitting room.  The accommodations are as expected, clean and well-appointed.  Breakfast includes made to order eggs and bacon - delicious. After spending time driving around the area, we would recommend the Seanor House as a great place to stay.  There is not much in the town to see or do, but for the golfer this is it!
