I don't recommend this beach bungalow at all, there's nothing worse. The staff gets high and steals customers' belongings, they also offer drugs to customers by laughing if they refuse. I don't talk about cleanliness which is absolutely disastrous, cockroaches in the common areas, stained sheets, and dirty black pillows, housekeeping has never been done in 5 days, towels never changed, breakfast often crammed don't expect to take strength and energy, you're going to lose more than anything else. This beach bungalow must absolutely close.

Flee if you want to!!!

Stayed here for 4 days and I couldn't have asked for more for what I paid. Cute, cozy room, comfy bed and big, clean bathroom. The showers are cold water but warm up during the day so never too cold; and you don't need hot water here. 
The staff in Beach box are fantastic, they help with any questions you have and are super helpful and friendly with everything. 
Brilliant location, nice and quiet but close to the harbour and main bars, 5 minutes walk to the beach and you can rent a bike from beach box super cheap so you can explore the island.

Awesome place, definitely recommend

4 wooden cabin style bungalows in a quiet street but walkable from the harbour by just ten minutes. Dany the guy looking after the bungalows is very sweet and always around if you have any questions. I would recommend this place for a quiet stay for a few nights. Breakfast is pancakes and they were delicious!

Lovely

The owners of the bungalows should be wearing black and white stripes they will steal anything they can get there hands on including your money in desperate times. I visited at the time of the 6.9 earthquake which was a horrific experiance to start with once we where told it was safe to go get our belongings the owner of the hotel found us and walked us back. When we got there he told us we need to pay for our stay (which we already had 2 days prior) and if we wanted to get off the island which was now non existing we needed to purchase boat tickets and they would ensure we got back to Bali that day to safer land. In this time of panick me and my boyfriend bought the tickets as we didn't want to be stranded on an island that was collapsing around us, the tickets cost us 900 idr and we where told to wait at the harbour for our boat which would arrive and 9.30am. Lone behold there was no boat and there was no chance we where getting off the island. Absolutely disgusted the way they treated us as we spent a further 2 days stranded on the island which narrowed down to around 300 tourists and 3 locals. Will never go back and hope no one else visits these criminals!

Don't ever book here EVER!

I stayed for three nights and although the room could have been a little better, the staff were friendly and the location was convenient & quiet. Fine for a short stay. 

Rooms: reminiscent of my Grandads garden shed!
4x Wooden ‘cabins’ in a little courtyard.
There’s a little porch with seats and a clothes airer, the room itself is small but has hooks and a shelf so enough storage.
Bed was comfy and sheets were clean but stained so didn’t look very appealing. 
There was AC but as the cabins aren’t well sealed (can see daylight through the planks) it’s not overly effective. I had it on my entire stay at 18 degrees and only then was it relatively comfortable. There is also a fan which helps. 
Bathroom was fine, only had cold water but expected on the island, floor was concrete so not sure if this is properly cleaned. 
WiFi was good enough. No toiletries provided. No mozzie net but wrapped up before bed and didn’t really get bitten. 

Location: very convenient, only 5 mins from the harbour and restaurants but no noise.
A few small supermarkets close by. Most of the accommodation that side of the island is affected with noise from the mosque and this place is no different, bring earplugs! Also roosters making noise early on. Little bit dark in the back roads at night but still felt safe. 

Staff: the guys were really friendly and upbeat.
I rented a bike from them for 50k a day, bit ropey but did the job.
The lock on my room jammed and they sorted this quickly whilst I was out. There was always someone on hand to say hi or help. 



Good value, basic rooms as expected for the price 

The guys who work there keep the place organized. However, the boxes are not really like the pics. It’s in a backyard in an alley behind the Main Street. The boxes have a fan and clean sheets. Simple and okay but three nights was more than enough. Also, the rooster next door woke everyone up at 5 am every morning, bring ear plugs.

You get what you pay for

I was here with my best friend for two nights, and for little money, we got a great, clean bungalow with terrace, breakfast, and welcome coffee included. The bungalows are clean and cozy. There are towels and a mosquito net, but it's more of a decoration. Unfortunately, we were nervous about the chatter of the two owners, who probably had too many magic mushrooms for breakfast and kept telling us how beautiful we were and wanted to know where our friend was. So it's more of a recommendation for single girlfriends.

Nice bungalows.

It's a very comfortable place, but it's the typical yellow bungalow, it has no air conditioning and it's very hot. Fortunately, it's cooling the rain.
