Despite a storm like no other which enveloped Matheran with torrential rain, we had a wonderful time with Mr. Narendra ji taking care of all our needs. As Ferozeshah Mehta's getaway cottage, this place is ripe with history and heritage, and every nook of its compound conceals whispers of its past. Rooms and cozy and the food is absolutely delicious (though the portions can be really large if you get the table service experience). Highly recommend Radha Cottage for anyone wanting to get comfortably away from the hustling chaos of the market, and towards a more serene and peaceful side of Matheran.
