Excellent Location.  But the rooms are not maintained properly.  Blankets were very dirty. Toilet was broken and not cleaned hence dark in colour. Pillows with saliva maps on it. When complained, the response was like "you need me more than I need you".

Horrible hotel in terms of infrastructure and staff too.
We had agreed to pay a higher fee and they still have a bad quality room. AC didn’t work , geyser didn’t work . After complaining against this they changed the room and surprise surprise in the new room the current goes off fully. 

Terrible… Never book here… 

Particularly to mention, situated in heart of the city and near to the Railway station.

I have felt that Tirunelveli tradition and class in all aspects of this hotel.

Overall it was good and customer friendly.

Overall Good Experience

check in was smooth rooms were average we had booked 5 rooms and  all had problems. One room the lighting was so poor that we could not see the switch panel which had something written on it. The light ( 3 or 5 w bulb) was placed at the corner of the room hence no reading could be done lying on the bed. All the door knobs could not be opened from outside so if you accidentally step out of the room you are stuck outside. One room the toilet flush knob was stuck to the wall using cellophane tape. The air conditioners in two rooms were the obsolete variety without temperature control. One room the flush tank took ages to fill and the reason given was the hotel was fully occupied. The restaurant was no great. The complimentary menu daily was two idlis, one medu vada and choice between and dosa and pongal. Very depressing. 
Inspite of all the unpleasantness, will definitely commend the lady at the front desk and Mr.Dhanpal for giving us a patient hearing and doing their best to reduce our troubles. Unfortunately, they were helpless in resolving infrastructural issues. The management needs to step in here and rectify the problems.
Another thought crossed my mind, maybe the almost 9 month lockdown due to the pandemic could have resulted in poor maintenance.  

Stay only if essential

We booked a double-room for 2 nights. Stayed 24-26 Nov 2020 in connection with a check up in Aravind Eye Hospital.
The hotel is very close (5 minutes-walking distance)  to Tirunelveli Railway Station and Aravind Eye Hospital.
We opted for strict adherence to cleanliness and Covid precautions.  The hotel did not  disappoint us. We took a non-ac room (No.114) due to the coolness of winter. It wads tidy. The bath-toilet was very very clean.
We enjoyed our sleep. we were not disturbed by the late-night howling and  noises from the nearby bus-stn.  
The staff was very helpful. I had interacted with Mr. Rajkumar of the front office
both the days of our stay. Even the roomboys were ever ready to fill in drinking water or for any other needs.

The only disheartening experience was their Nellai Saravanabhava  restaurant. The food was  wishy-washy. 
They have a bar.   Due to Covid fear, the business was thin on the ground.
 
Overall , we are pleased.

A great budget hotel with very helpful staff

The room was clean  and large and the staff were very responsive to service requests. The only problem we had with our room was the leaky health faucet which made the bath and toilet wet all the time , something we didn’t like. 
But the overall energy of the place was very safe and nice. They have a restaurant downstairs and there are plenty of places to eat near by too.

Good Hotel in Nellai, i stayed for one day, reasonable cost. Pleasant Stay, Room service is good, 

and also i love that city, somehow i got better hotel too, i have my friends there, still i want to stay in hotel, after consider all the review, i go with this hotel. Very helpful

Me and my brother booked hotel on same day and same amount. I was booked through online and my brother was booked through reception counter.
He gives good rooms for offline bookings and worst cleanliness and poor bed rooms for online bookings. 
Due that dust and quality of room I got cold and fever

Very poor cleanliness and staff service

There was a problem with the key in our room on the 1st night with our luggage stuck in the room  ..the staff worked through the night to fix it while having arranged for an alternate room  thanks .

Service!

Pros:
- Place was hygienic & restrooms were well maintained.
- Proximity to Nelliappar Temple
- Courteous Staff & Support
- Lift works

Cons:
- Small Room for the price charged (as long as it couple with kids it is manageable)
- Definitely needs a better car parking management system. One in place right now is not helpful at all. 
- Had to call room service multiple times for buckets of hot water early morning. It is frustrating when you want to leave for temples at 5 am in the morning. 
- AC was so noisy & hence unusable. Fortunately the climate was bearable without it. So we were able to sleep without AC at nights.
