Wow! What an impressive and totally perfect hotel to end our holiday. The video on the hotel website gives a very good flavour of the property, but in reality it was so much better. Our bungalow was clean, a good size and faced the river, so quiet and a lovely view. A wonderful place to have a coffee and read a book. The bathroom was even better, having only a partial roof, it felt wonderful to shower in the warm. At no time did I see a bug! The tea lady arriving by canoe for afternoon refreshments was such a nice touch, and really fitted with the tranquillity of the place. There are activities through the day with the naturalists, who are so passionate about the area and wildlife. And well done for showing off your bottling facility! So impressive. The sunset cruise is beautiful , so do book that as soon as you arrive, it really is worth doing. There is a bar, which offers beer, wines and a few cocktails. Impressed they also had some non alcoholic beers. All very reasonably priced. There are two restaurants. One buffet and one fish. We only ate at the buffet but each meal had a huge variety of dishes on offer and were well cooked. One evening we had a meal from the a la carte menu, it was terrific! And again very cheap. Taking into account the location, the nature, the food and the really wonderful staff, I can honestly say this is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. CGH Earth, you are amazing!
