I tried South Indian dosa and idli and cutlets, it was awesome. The service is also on time, the ambiance is also good. I have planned to visit next time also when I will visit the temple city, Bhubaneswar

Perfect destination for foodies

I was the first one to review this hotel on TripAdvisor, when it was not even listed with an Excellent rating. 

My reasons were location, food, 24 hours check-in, services, and fairly decent rooms at that price. I overlooked not so good washrooms. 

Some things have changed. Food is as good as ever. Location is of course great. Services are good but have not improved keeping in pace with the tariff hike. You still get a 5 Rs soap at the washroom. 

But all that is fine. The trap that you should not fall into is booking it through a online portal. While I have been staying here for long and have always availed 24-hour checkout, I was told this time that while checking in that I have to check out at 12, even though I checked in around 5 pm. I rechecked the voucher and yes, it was mentioned. 

The norm in most hotels is 24 hour checkout. So, do not fall into this trap of saving 10% for  compromise in checkout time

Good value for money, but not as good as it used to be!

We had visited this place on 19/05/2018 for break fast.  We had south Indian Food stuffs.  Reasonably good food served by this hotel.  This is a bit costlier than Truptee Restaurant. As we have not stayed in the hotels no comments on room services

Venus inn is near to the airport as well as Bhubaneswar railway station approx 2.5 kms.Please book the new rooms which has been made.
Staffs are really helpful as well as restaurant food quality and taste is good (specially South Indian) and they offer pure vegetarian food.

Budget property

I had Butter Masala Paper Dosa, it was really good I also had Chole Bhature(that was not upto the mark) as they serve best South Indian dishes.

Best Dosas

This is a average property. Good maintain. The important about the hotel is the location which is Center of town bapuji nagar having walkable distance to  main market.in go .ibibo u can get it in.less 1000. Per day

In fact, we can always find worse in India but between the room that hasn't even been swept, the spider webs and the bathroom ceiling made of limestone (if you can call it that...) I'm not even talking about mattresses as hard as the floor... No beasts, that's already it! Especially since the reception is not very pleasant... A room without air conditioning at 980 Rupees (so 1000) in this state, for which you have to pay for hot water and a WIFI that doesn't work at all.... You can easily get to 1300 Rupees which is NOT a good price ratio (even for 980 Rupees elsewhere!) I've already found much better and cheaper....

It's very convenient.....

A clean hotel, a quality restaurant, extra wifi (20 rupees / 24h) only the noise of the train is a little bit off, otherwise a good address, on a rather quiet street (everything is relative), a good pastry shop downstairs.
