This is a very attractive, modern guesthouse in this picturesque seaside town, ideal as a base to explore the snaefellsnes peninsula.

The rooms are clean with shared bathrooms. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Good wifi and helpful hosts.

Lovely guesthouse, great breakfast

Anne was very helpful and friendly and she showed us around when we were looking for somewhere to eat. The facilities were extra clean and the breakfast was really good. The house was so calm and we slept so good.

Very clean & lovely

We stayed there for one night and had the house to ourselves. Our bedroom was very comfortable and the whole house was very good with all the amenities and very clean.
The host who doesn't stay there, came in the morning to prepare breakfast. It was great with loads of choices. 
Stykkisholmur is a small typically Icelandic town really worth a stay and comfort guest house is the perfect place for the night

Very comfortable 

We stayed here after 3 nights in a veritable closet in Reykjavik.  It was on the more expensive end of our two week trip around the country, but was nicely located, clean, quiet, nice living room area and kitchen area, and the owner gave us great advice on the area (& breakfast was nice).

Pricer range but very nice, clean, quiet, good breakfast

We had a very nice 2 nights in this guesthouse. The room was lovely - clean and right next to the shared bathroom which was really large and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, freshly prepared. View from the bedroom window was wonderful. We had a wonderful 2 days travelling around the area and then enjoyed dinner walking into town easily from the guest house - would highly recommend.


Nice guesthouse

We stayed two nights in this guesthouse and we loved it. The rooms were comfortable and relatively spacious. The breakfast was excellent as was the reception we were booked for. It is a 5-minute walk from the small harbour and the main restaurants.

Good guesthouse.

Family stay, very nice guesthouse, convenient with its 3 bathrooms, large kitchen and large living room, breakfast buffet very well served, the best taken in guesthouse, warm home.

Very pleasant.

The guest house is a little hidden in the side street. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. Unfortunately our room was overlooking the parking lot. There was a large living room with a kitchen. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately there were only 4 parking spaces right next to the house. But what we didn't really like was the room price of 170.00 euros. It's definitely too expensive for an Icelandic B&B with a communal bath.

Nice guest house but unfortunately expensive

The guest house is unobtrusive and is located in a side street. You follow a blue surrounded sign with a black bed on a white ground. Very quiet location, as the place is very small, everything is conveniently accessible on foot. The house itself was probably renovated/equipped this year (2017). The furnishings and beds are new and in simple style. The rooms (5 in number) are typically very small. There are two communal bathrooms and toilets, a communal living room with sofa/TV, dining table and spacious communal kitchen. Here also the wide range of dishes that includes toast/bread, marmalade, cheese/breakfast, pancakes, joghurt, mustard, and a good choice of coffee sauce in between everything is prepared.

We stayed one night in this guesthouse and enjoyed it. There is a kitchen available and you can have a coffee. There are also 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets. A large living room dining room.
