The staff is friendly and very polite, the room is clean and well equipped (Tv, Wi-Fi, mini safe, minibar and so on). I could find a parking place for my car next to the Hotel. The breakfast is quite good. I recommend the place. Next time I am in the city I’ll stay here again.

A nice place in Debrecen

Located in a small park near the university, opposite the bathrooms, the Villa Hotel enjoys a smiling and pleasant service, able to answer in English. The rooms, not always very clear (with velvety, often two individual beds), are well equipped; the bedding is comfortable. The breakfast is copious and varied. One thing: the rooms can be quite noisy due to the noise of the air conditioning and household appliances (minibar).

Comfort, kindness, good breakfast

We stayed for two weeks at the Vila Hotel. We generally liked it. The location is very good next to the pool with the thermal water next to the tram line very good connection to the city center beautiful nature in general everything for rest. Very good breakfast can even be ordered any eggplant. The disadvantages: very soft mattresses, no TV program in Russian, no menu in Russian. We handled the translator on our mobile phone. We found three restaurants with a menu in Russian. If anyone needs it.

Have a good time.

A roomy, cozy hotel. Located in the park, a few steps from the spa. Extremely friendly staff - met in the middle of the night, on request - opened a bar stand, poured beer from the road:) Unfortunately, stayed only for one night.

The hotel room

We stayed for a week, a great hotel, a great location, nice, responsive staff, comfortable and bright rooms, a small minus the absence of a teapot in the room, a high-end hotel restaurant.

Excellent hotel for family vacation.

We spent one night at Villa Hotel and the place is very nice, clean and elegant. The staff is hospitable and the service is wonderful. Great breakfast!

The park around the hotel is lovely.

Welcoming and elegant 

We stayed two nights and it was lovely.  The small hotel is comfortable, understated elegance and conveniently located.  The only complaint is the too small, uncomfortable shower stall.  Breakfast was included and it was very complete, and tasty.  They also have an excellent restaurant.  Our dinner was delicious!

Old World Ambiance

I didn´t stay at the hotel but I had dinner twice at its restaurant which is open to the public. Meals were excellent, hungarian and quite generous. Service was also excellent and overall quite good. I recommend it if you are in the university area.

Excellent restaurant

This hotel is very pretty to look at and the interior is nice as well. The location is beautiful and it was in close proximity (about half a mile walk through the park) to the university. Front desk was nice and helpful, and the restaurant attached was great. Good breakfast was included too. Our room was a little cramped but still fine.

Lovely little hotel in the park

We stayed one night on our way to Slovakia and Poland and chose this Villa Hotel (?!) which was OK for the price we paid through a reservation made some months ago. We expected more reading the good, sometimes excellent reviews, but the rooms we got were pretty small, in a kind of attic of the restaurant. Because the windows of the rooms look to the restaurant terrace, we were afraid of the possible noise till late at night, but it was ok. The furniture seems a little worn out and everything looks as if this hotel knew better times. Average breakfast. Difficult to find the location even with the GPS. We had to go off the car and walk around to ask for the location which was right there, but we didn't expect to find out that the hotel is in fact above the restaurant, like an annex of it.
Indeed the area is very peaceful, the hotel being in the largest green area of Debrecen, with spas, zoo, stadium, jogging tracks, lakes, adventure park etc. but you have to take the tram to get to the centre of the town.
