When we came to visit we had such an amazing time here that I can only highly recommend. 
The hostel has direct access to the lake and even offered a cheap sailing tour on the lake. 
We had a fun night at the hostel bar and finished off with the great pizza of the in house restaurant.

Definitely a party hostel but an absolute blast with something always going on! Always a fun atmosphere in the bar/patio area with good music, different events for guests an locals to enjoy, dinner options were great and just an overall fun atmosphere for those looking for something away from the typical hostel experience. Good locations for other things to do around the area and very budget friendly with good views. Little to no privacy in the dorm style rooms, but we didn't experience any issues that made our trip a negative one. Recommended and have fun!

I stayed with my fiance and we have nothing but good comments. The room was clean the private bathroom was also clean and we had a room on the third floor so we had the best view of the Lake/Mayan face! Breakfast included and all at a very reasonable price...good yummy selection of breakfasts.. recommended for sure!

Booked 2 nights with my 7 year old, not realising it's a "party hostel." Despite this we really enjoyed our stay. The partying was in the bar which is some distance from the rooms/sleeping areas and tho it was a little noisy at night, the music went off around midnight and we slept well. The free breakfast was absolutely magnificient, as were the views of the lake. The staff were all characters, with a lot if eccentric charm and the owner was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Best value hostel I've ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights. On the second night we had to get a 4am bus; we were devastated because the breakfast on the first day had been so good - our best in Central America! There was a huge buffet spread of enormous croissants, eggs, ham, cheese, avocado halves and salad. There was plenty of food for everyone staying and it was all free. Highly recommend!

Hostel Fe is wonderful. The location cannot be beat--the bar/restaurant is right on the water. Across the street is the hostel. The food is wonderful and the bar always has lots of fun activities planned throughout the week. The staff speak a multitude of language, and particularly Spanish and English. 

Even though this is considered a party hostel, in San Pedro music must be lowered at 11 PM. This makes it possible to fall asleep or to keep the party going, whichever you choose. 

I am particularly thankful for how safe I felt while staying here. I had a terrible experience at another hostel and when I showed up they made sure I felt safe. If I come back to San Pedro I will definitely be back here. 

Also, if you stay 3 nights the 4th night is free! (Or at least it was when I went)

This is a great hostel. Rooms are good and clean, and the free breakfast is above average and its just a few minutes walk from the mail dock. The bar overlooking the lake is great and they have a Blob which is a blast and a good way to waste an afternoon! If you are around on Friday I recommend the quiz night as a fun way to meet other travelers.

We stayed at Fe for 4 nights. The hostel is on the San Pedro “strip”, bring one of the biggest party bars in town. This was great when we wanted to party (Christmas Eve), not so great when we wanted to chill and sleep (the music from Fe and the neighbouring bars is pretty much 24/7). Take earplugs.
The rooms were basic, clean and functional however slightly lacking in space. 
Breakfast was great! Good choice and decent portions given it’s included in the price of the room. 
Bathrooms were functional (could’ve been cleaner!).
Overall expect a party hostel with a great party atmosphere, friendly staff and basic amenities.

Very cool party hostel

We generally enjoyed our stay. Obviously, when you book at a self-proclaimed “party hostel” in a notoriously party-centric town, your standards tend to change a little. So when I say that the extremely loud fireworks at midnight, the familyroom balcony/designated weed smoking area and the ledge that allows you to jump from the bar directly into lake were all fine, I mean it. Do we wish we would have changed to one of the other fantastic and much more chill hostels near by after the first night? Absolutely. Definitely worth one night stay though. The music and food were both great!

Totally fine “party hostel”

This is a decent hostel for the price. The decor is a little basic and tired but over all it’s ok. The breakfast makes up for things though, highly recommend the french toast and it comes with Nutella. 

Staff are really helpful. It’s a good location in San Pedro. 

We were here in low season and so it was quite quiet but the bar is set up for a good party vibe.
