Skopelos

Stunning location with amazing views over Skopelos bay and harbour.  The villa has really nice outside space and is well designed and of high quality inside.  We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids and it all works very well.  The owner (Linda) is great  - really helpful and attentive in before we arrived and when we there with lots of advice where needed and help with anything.    It is around a 10 min drive up a non-tarmac road, but its fine and easy once you are used to it.   Skopelos town is great for a walk around or an evening meal. We loved it.   The views were the best and always lots to see with boats and ferries coming and going.

Great villa with the best views ever!

The villa was truly amazing and clean. 
Everyday a pool boy came to clean the pool. 
Every room had AC and was sparkly clean. Mrs Kohili was so kind and even gave us gifts when we arrived and left.

No1 choice to stay in Skopelos.

We had a delightful stay at Kohilli Villas in Skopelos.  

This was our first visit to Skopelos despite having travelled pretty widely through Greece and the Aegean. Several Athenians we know recommended it as their vacation of choice and it was easy to see why.  

Nestled in the hills high above Skopelos town, the Kohilli Villas are a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views (better than the photos can possibly capture) across the harbour and out to sea. 

Set well back from the town and main roads, the villas are wonderfully quiet (save the chirping of cicadas, the buzzing of bees and a few distant church bells).  

Each villa has its own private pool - crystal clear and cleaned early every morning (before we woke).

Lina, our charming host, could not have been more welcoming.  We arrived to a huge basket of chilled fresh fruit, local treats and supplies. 

Our villa was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean on arrival (and then fully cleaned/serviced twice a week). 

The villas are modern with tasteful touches of traditional  Greek decor.  

Being so high, they are kept fairly cool by the sea breezes but there is air conditioning in every room if you need it.  Wifi was pretty good overall (we were able to stream) but there were occasional dropouts at night.

The 5 villas are adjacent on the property but each is surrounded by tall hedges, olive trees and fragrant gardens so they feel quite private and sheltered.

Although the villas appear close to Skopelos town on the map, you’ll want a car.  It is a dusty walk up the steep winding road in midsummer. A car or scooter is advisable for easy access to the many great bars, cafes and eateries of the town - and beaches around the island. There are several hire car places near where the ferries dock. It’s only 5 minutes’ drive from the port and each villa has a parking space.

Kohilli Villas is a wonderful place for a family holiday, a tranquil retreat or a romantic getaway.  It’s easy to lose whole days sitting on the balcony with a gentle breeze blowing, staring out to sea while the kids splash in the pool below, watching the boats come and go, the colours of the sunsets and the lights and festivities of the town at night.  

A magical experience and a superb destination. Would love to have stayed longer (perhaps forever!)

Stunning views, magical location

Lina (the owner) promptly greeted us upon our arrival to the estate.  She was exuberant and ecstatic to show us the villa we would be enjoying the next few days.  We followed her inside the villa and almost fell down the stairs.  The interior and exterior are magnificent.  

We were given a guided tour of the entire villa room-by-room and given the ins-and-outs of how the amenities worked.  This helped make our stay much more pleasurable, as there was no learning curve to overcome.  We also had a welcome basket filled with fruits grown on the estate.

Each villa has its own swimming pool.  Each has its own parking area directly adjacent to the entrance.  Each has its own grounds to barbecue, enjoy citrus, and play around.

The villa had up-to-date appliances, fixtures, furniture, and amenities.  The pool is cleaned every morning, prior to you awakening.  The serenity of the location was perfect.  Bedrooms are situated on different floors, allowing a feeling of privacy within the same structure.  Multiple bathrooms further aide in the comfort level.  

The drive to the property is a unique experience.  It follows turns and bends uphill for some minutes.  Stick with it.  It gets easier the more you traverse it.  

More good things should be said, but it is a feeling you will know only after you decide to stay at this wonderful set of villas.

Amazing Villa

Great complex of five villas. Spectacular views over the bay and Skopelos. Breathtaking views. The villas are equipped with everything needed for an excellent stay. We were accommodated 3 couples in three rooms for sleeping in Villa 4. Do not make this mistake. Only the room in the middle floor is soundproofed and has its own bathroom. The room on the top floor has no solid wall, door and ceiling, bathroom and wardrobe are in a corridor. The only access to the pool was via the lower room. This room on top of everything has no toilet and mirror.  It is great inconvinience. 
The villa is ideal for 1 family with two adults and 2-4 children, but in no event for more couples.
We had problems with the Internet, it disappeared quite often.
I thing the overnight is overpriced.
