Delfino Blu Boutique Hotel

From the moment you arrive to be greeted by the owner, Mr Papanikolaou, and a member of staff, your luggage is spirited away and you are offered a welcome platter of fruit with views to the sea, you know that this is a very special place, and your first impression sets the bar for what it is to come. My suite, very spacious, had views to the sea and included everything you may want and more. The view from the gorgeous balcony was magnificent. The balcony had two sunbeds, a table with two chairs and a bench. Nothing to stop you from watching the most beautiful array of sunsets while sipping your favourite drop, or welcoming the day with breakfast, if you did not feel like having breakfast in the company of other guests. This, however, is not recommended: the choices offered for breakfast are next level. The members of staff are very helpful and professional and ready to go the extra mile, as is the owner. You receive personalized attention. The facilities are superb. A few steps down from where the meals are served are the swimming pool and the pool bar, both with views of the sea. Continuing down another set of steps you find the spa area where you can have massages and be pampered, and where you can afterwards relax on cocoon sunbeds and views to the sea. Down from there are Mango, the beach bar with the most wonderful meals, and the beach itself with complementary umbrellas and sunbeds. Within the grounds there are lovely nooks to suit different moods, including one outdoors with books, a couch and a pool table. The location is perfect and the little village has plenty of places to eat, if you do not wish to have a lovely dinner every day at the hotel, or cook something in your suite. On the beach, you can rent a boat, go parasailing, or rent a sea scooter amongst other things. In short, a little paradise for a perfect relaxing break. I am going back next year. I want to make sure it was not a dream. :)
