These Studio Apartments tick all the boxes. Set in a quiet area only 5-10 minutes walk from numerous restaurants & bars this place is an excellent place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the shower has constant hot water & the kitchenette is functional. The host Thomas is very professional, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We didn't ask or expect more, instead we got more than expected. The room is clean, the host is friendly (he (Thomas) even called us to say goodbye and asked if we had e great time and wished us a good flight back). With regards to location (it doesn't have a sea view, but its only 100 meter walk, and it is in my opinion one of the best spots to stay, especially for the amount of money! 

Excellent accommodation in Nydri. Right in the heart of the city, on the main road and 2 minutes away from the beach. We got the top floor room and it was huge. Top notch appliances, new furniture, plenty of space and lovely views from every window of the room. 

Several great restaurants nearby, barber shop downstairs if you wanna go wild for a night out and a car rental shop right next to the villa.

Will definetly be back!

These appartments are just off the main street in Nidri, in a block of 10 different sized appartments. A 3 floor building; we stayed in appartment nr 22 on the second floor, which is a studio with a small kitchenette and a huge (covered) balcony. Therefor we were able to sort of create an outdoor kitchen with our 'twin burner', since the balcony also had a socket and a tab with running water.
Not all appartments have a covered balcony, so if that is important to you,  ask for one of those. 
The appartment is cleaned very well, 6 times per week (not on Wednesday in our case), change of towels 3 times, and change of bed linnen 1 time per week. Very comfortable beds, TV (with BVN, for our Dutch/Belgium guests) and free WIFI of good quality. No reception. If you arrive by car, as we did, you just stop at the bar in the main street with the sign Valena appartments, just after youi've passed the sign 'pedestrian zone'' (only from 19hrs-02hrs) and they will call Thomas who will show you the way to the appartment, help you with your luggage (no elevator) and explain where you can find everything. 
There's no staffed reception, but Thomas checks regularely if all is okay, and you can always contact him if you might need something or have a question (or you can go to the bar in the main street)
Next to the appartment building is a car rental company, and on the other side a large car park (paid) which only seems to be in use during summer season. There were construction works going on when we stayed there, so you might want to check the status of that, because you will have some noise of that during the day. 
Just opposite these appartments you will find hotel Lefko with a nice outdoor swimming pool and bar, which is available for Valena guests too. (this is also the case at hotel Royal Nidri, right next to appartment Valena, right next to the car park).
We had a lovely and relaxed week on Lefkas and enjoyed our stay at Valena appartments very much!

Last juli we went to Valena Rooms in Nydri. We had a wonderfull holiday! The appartments where very luxerious. We had a bathingroom with a bath and a very big kitchen. We had a 2 room appartment on the streetlevel. That was very nice because we had an elder with us (85)
The houkeeper was very nice and she kept the room very clean!
The staff of Valena rooms was very nice, he asked us every day if everything was allrigth.
The complex is near the shops and restaurants and the walk to the beach only takes 5 minutes.
We really want to come back next time!

This was my 3th time visiting Lefkada island, I just love this island! Valena Rooms is a great place to stay! Very clean, quiet, modern rooms, IN VERY GREAT LOCATION! I'm very very sad for EGREMNI BEACH (destroyed by earthquake) and for the road to GIALOU BEACH (for the same reasons). If you plan to visit this Island I recommend you to stay in Valena Rooms. I don't like beaches in Nidry. You have to rent a car or scooter and explore the whole wonderful island. The best beaches are on the whole west side od island (PORTO KATSIKI BEACH, PREFKOULIA BEACH, AVALI BEACH, KAVALIKEFTA BEACH, MEGALI PETRA BEACH, KATHISMA BEACH .. and go on MYLOS BEACH there is a wonderful scenic small footpath from AGHIOS NIKITAS (the route you can found on Google) or go with boat for about 3 EUR in one way. You have to visit VASILIKI town on south side of island and nice beach in Vasiliki Bay, when you will be there you have to go on AGHIOFILI BEACH - small but super nice beach! On North side of PREFKOULIA BEACH is nudist very gay friendly location :)
