We made the mistake of not staying at the hotel when coming to Andros specifically for this skate park.  If I had the time again I would have stayed at Blu Enigma - my mistake! Nikos, who designed and built the BMX/Skate park by hand, is not only a creative genius but incredibly generous.  He allowed our 12 year old to go up to the trails with some of his BMX guests.  My son was in heaven.  The walk up is absolutely gorgeous through fruit trees and up lots of steps.  The park itself is like nothing I have ever seen before - completely unique and worth making the trip to Andros just to experience.  For people into BMX, Skate boarding, Scooter riding this place is a once in a lifetime.  The hotel is a mix of art, warm spaces, fun activities and joy - highly recommended.

For the action sports enthusiast this is the find of a lifetime. Nikos and Gus were so helpful, great hosts and the hotel is perfectly located not just for bmx, skateboarding and rollerblading but for hiking and mountain biking too. Beautiful beach just down the road, one ferry stop from Athens Rafina port. Superb!

After seeing pictures online me and 5 friends decided we had to visit for a 4 day skateboarding holiday. To say pictures don't do this place justice would be an understatement. It's a skateboarders paradise and Nik and Gus were the best hosts we could have asked for and made it a truly unique and special trip and all of us will be visiting again...and again.

I decided to go to Andros to see if the pictures could do justice to this place.
Starting with the Hotel, the rooms are spacious, clean and have very good vibe with all these little touches and the colours. Our 2 persons room had two rooms, a kitchen, a toilet and balcony with view. Going to the main hall, there is a bar/restaurant equipped with billiards, table tennis, piano and a projector. The coctails are lovely, the food is amazing and the music is always something that motivates you in a good way!
Then the bowl. Below the main hall is the BluEnigma bowl, a unique red bowl which has a lovely view to the sea. The bowl has plenty of lines to work at. Finally, the best is the trails. The owner of the Hotel arranges depending on request and takes you to the trails by van, even though it is only 15' walk if you like to go on your own, and then you see Paradise. It is a mix between trails and park, as it has been cemented, and has very good grip. Unlimited lines at this original place, i do not think there exists another like this in this world. I saw bikes, skates and in line skates having fun together in this lovely place. Definitely recommended! I should not forget to mention that the staff is friendly and good to talk with also. Finally, the prices are very challenging compared to what you are offered with, since the breakfast is unbelievable.

Nikos the host has created a welcoming, unique hotel. Upon arrival we where greeted and made to feel at home right away. The hotel sits half way up a valley and gives spectacular views down to the sea. We then headed down to ride the bowl. The skate and bmx facilities are completely unique to Bluenigma and offer a challenge to all levels of rider. Nikos is also an incredible chef cooking us delicious meals every night. All the food was locally sourced and prepared for us every day. All in all the Bluenigma hotel offers an incredible experience. I will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days during April 2016 and have to say that this place amazing. The manager Nikos is a lovely guy and really made me and my friends feel at home during our entire stay. The bowl in the garden is BMX and Skateboard friendly and seriously good to ride. We would start most days off by riding the bowl and then going and riding the concrete trails that are a short 10 minute drive from the hotel.

The rooms were basic but clean and the food was sourced from local suppliers and cooked fresh everyday. All in all we all had amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blu Enigma Hotel and I'm certain we will all be back at some point!
