The hotel is very well maintained, the rooms are clean and spacious, the pool area, the spa and the gym are very pleasant, and this hotel is very well located in the city, close to all amenities, but I find it a little expensive.

Very nice hotel.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the village. This hotel is quiet and quiet. Close to restaurants and transportation. Ideal place to go for a hike without having to use a vehicle. The premises are spacious and well maintained. There is a spa but I did not use it. Very satisfying lunch: charcuterie, cheese, salmon, all quality Viennese

Well located hotel

Clean! Nice reception! Very decent swimming pool with large wellness area. Breakfast could be more diverse. No restaurant in the evening, so maybe even a smaller breakfast buffet. Free parking and wlan. Large clean rooms. Good connection everywhere. 100 meters to the center and great surroundings.

We were eight people and two young children. We needed four double rooms. Two of them were rather small, but clean and well worth the price. Since there were no more rooms available, we booked two more apartments. These were very large and with terrace or garden seating. We were also very satisfied with breakfast. Besides sausage, cheese, salmon, Gipfelis, etc. They also offered eggs prepared on request. The service was very friendly. The weekend was very comfortable and comfortable for all of us. The only downside is the street that runs under the hotel. There was a lot of traffic and we could only sleep with closed windows.

We, a family of 2 adults and one child (6) were at the Sunside Apartment for 4 days at the end of October. Unfortunately, we didn't just book the apartment and booked 3 apartments in one room, but the third option was in the apartment. That's exactly what we didn't want our daughter to do. We arrived outside the normal check-in time (15:00-18:00) when the hotel was closed. After a phone call, someone showed us the apartment. Family an extended weekend at Schluchhsee

Nothing to say about the cleanliness of the place, from the apartment to the various very clean arrangements. We were surprised to have so many kitchen accessories, there was nothing missing! The room/living room is spacious enough for an extra bed. It's a shame that the wellness space is not functional continuously, after we may not be in the right time (between Christmas and New Year). It's a good compromise for everyone to find their account.

Too cheap, old, not likeable

The hotel is great all around! Good facilities, a great pool, fitness room, sauna area. Unfortunately, Schluchsee is not ideally located - but you can't have everything. The hotel participates in the HochschwarzwaldCard, which means free ski passes. Hence thick PLUS. The price was negative. Comparable accommodations in the region are much cheaper - the previously unbeatable price-performance ratio of this hotel seems to be LEIDER history. Nevertheless, a great hotel when money plays a subordinate role.

Very nice, but a little expensive.

We celebrated New Year in this hotel and it was fine! I was surprised that such small hotel has so big swimming poll and all facilities.  Our room was very big, there were all accessories in the kitchen, including cookers and blender. The service staff was very frendly. Only one criticism - there is no cleaning room. When we ask about it we knew that we had to pay 8 euro for every clearning. It seems strange for 4* hotel.

excellent hotel

We loved staying here, the town is beautiful, the lake is beautiful and we had a great 1 bedroom suite (comfy bed) with separate lounge area, big modern bathroom with excellent shower (great water pressure) and a lovely balcony with views straight onto the lake.  Breakfast is your typical German (very good) fare and service is exceptional.  Cannot and would not say one bad thing about it.
