Our room was ready upon arrival and located on the second floor. We had my sister's dog with us and it was not a problem at all. The staff answered all of our questions about the surrounding area(s). They were very friendly! The hotel has parking directly behind it and you have to put a placard in your windshield to let them know you are a guest. The hotels location couldn't be any better! You walk directly across the street and you have many restaurants to chose from and then the beach/pier is right in front of you! I highly recommend Hotel Granitz! If I were ever in the area again, this is the only place I would consider. My only complaint is our room faced the road and it was a little noisy. We also got the morning sun and the curtains were not thick enough to block the light...and it gets bright early!
