We spent the night in this lodge on the way, and were very well received by Mr. Thelen, and the rooms were in very good condition, and the breakfast buffet was great.

Nice accommodation

The staff is really friendly, rooms are nice & clean, the ideal place for racing fans!

Rooms are named after Nürburgring Nordschleife Track sections, and the famous Restaurant Pistenklause from the Schmitz Family is just across the street.

Nordschleife Track Access is also very near.

I have stayed there more than once and will definitely go back on my next Nürburg Vacations!

Great Place for Petrol Heads !!

Spotlessly clean. Great rooms. Very well positioned for access to Nürburg ring. The owners where very helpful. The parking was adequate. I recommend the accommodation. If I return to Nürburg I will certainly be booking here again

Haus pit lane

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Nurburgring which is only a couple of minutes away. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the breakfast was lovely and fresh and the staff all very pleasant. Great value for money too, would definitely recommend it.

Lovely guesthouse, great location 

Great place to stay for Nurburgring with plenty parking ,both tracks are within walking distance and ideally located to get early laps in also Nurburg castle is about 15mins walk and worth it for the views,our room at Haus pit Lane was spotless clean,light and fresh and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was continental style which was everything we needed. Everyone we met at Haus pit Lane were friendly and welcoming. We will be returning for sure.

Perfect location

We went to this house with some colleagues and we were satisfied. A nice breakfast buffet. Nice reception and clean house. Only a better mattress could improve the very good rating.

We arrived when there was no one to meet us and check in, but we called a phone and the owner opened the door remotely.The service is very pleasant and the room is comfortable and spacious.According to the time it is difficult to park in their parking lot.

We were given a very warm welcome by the owners upon our arrival, plus coffee and a biscuit. 
The hotel is very modern, and very comfortable, it has free wifi, and a tv in each room.
I had a large double room on the ground floor, with twin beds, and a bathroom with shower and toilet, very clean, with towels, shampoo, and flanels suplied.
The window has a view over the rear garden. Breakfast is at extra cost, but you get fresh produce, and a typical continental style, of cold meats, fruit, yogurt etc, plus fresh ground coffee from a very good machine. The owner will cook up some eggs if you ask.
We arrived with two motorbikes on a trailer, and we were allowed to store them in the garage under the hotel, and store the trailer around the back, so everything was very safe.
The owner does "taxi rides" around the track, and is therefore a professional driver, who is able to give you hints and tips about the track, and also showed us some roads both locally and further afield, which were stunning and well worth the trip.
You are literally 2 minutes from the Nordschleife entrance, and there are fuel stations just up the road, plus a Nurburgring visitor shop etc., a ten minute walk up the road.
Best place to eat and for bar atmosphere has to be Hotel Am Tiergarten, which is literally just across the road from the hotel.
I really recomend Haus Pit Lane, and when I visit again, I will stay here.

A great place to stay for your Nordschleife adventure

Recently stayed at the Haus Pit Lane with my family and truly enjoyed it.  The accommodations are attractive but simple, and the breakfast each morning was very nice.  The hotel is located very close to both the Nordschleife and to the main entry to the South loop, so if motorsports are your reason for visiting the area, you're well situated. Also, the owner of the hotel is a very experienced Nordschleife driver (25+ years) and offers taxi rides in either an M3 or an R8. My family opted for the M3 ride and loved it.  I'd definitely stay at Haus Pit Lane on a return visit.

Nice place, gracious owners...and close to the track!

Haus Pit Lane is in the village of Nurburg, which is right by the Nurburgring and close also to the main visitors centre as well as the point of access to the track - that is if you intend to drive the 'Ring.
Our room was a double and it was spacious and very clean. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but everything else was spot on. The ensuite toilet and shower was also a large room, in complete contrast to the place we stayed the previous night!
We were made very welcome by Friedhelm, who also runs a 'Ring Taxi service, and will drive you around at speed if you want the adrenaline rush!
Breakfast was very good, a buffet "continental" style, with plenty of choice, and was good value.
Haus Pit Lane is also in walking distance to a few restaurants.
Haus Pit Lane is a good, honest, small hotel, and I would definitely stay there again.
