We were with a group at the raft, and we had a barbecue. We would be very unfriendly, and this continued all afternoon. For the rafting tour I can only say that it was boring, but it was by the water. At night the barbecue was a joke. For 25 euros per person we could get something afterwards. There was little pig steak half the size of a hand area, a little bit bigger pussy steak, and little toast sausage, potato salad from the bucket and green salad. It had nothing to do with barbecue. Food went out and on demand we had to be unfriendly again. Never again.

Unfriendly, boring and clumsy

Friendly staff and guides, great organ! I recommend canoeing and - above all! - tubing. I rarely had so much fun!!! For the weather and water level to play a part (or not, you have to empty the plate first! :-)

It's a lot of fun.

The outdoor centre is located in Bihlerdorf, from where you have a lot of opportunities to get active in sports. In addition, the service is trained and very friendly and helpful. The structure is similar to a youth hostel, but nonetheless guests of all ages are there. There is a large living room that serves for breakfast in the morning and can be used in other ways. (The breakfast was tasty and sufficient) There is also a tea bar. In addition, there is a pool table, table and a drinking machine in the basement. The rooms are purposeful and very clean. We were on the ground floor and the room was large.

Good Accommodation in the Allgäu

This hotel is one of the worst I have seen, 
Lets start:

1. Very old from the 70s nothin has been renovated !
2. Toilet are old, brocken and DIRTY
3. The toilet windows are screwed so you cant open them, and there is no ventilation in the toilet, this means all the smell and vapours will go to bedroom
4. There is no hair dryer, no fridge, no TV, no radio nothing
5. The room walls are made from wood, this means in the morning and at night you hear each and every toilet flush !!!!

6. During our 5 days stay, our room has NEVER been cleaned 

Old hostel

We spent a weekend in the outdoor center in the beautiful Sonthofen. We got a 4-bedroom (No. 17) for the price of a double room. The high-rooms were arranged to our delight so that we had a normal double bed down below :-) The bathroom is simple, but enough for us. Each room has a covered balcony, which we used to dry our clothes and shoes. We were woken up by the sun and the rainy drive in the courtyard; the loft was simple, but of good quality ( delicious bread and coffee!).

A successful sports weekend

We went to the canyoning in mid-May together with the guides Bernd and Julian from the Outdoor Centre Allgäu. The meeting point was Blaichach at the centre, brief greeting by the guides before going to the material release. Then followed the 45-minute drive to the steep falls at Reutte, Austria. From there it took about 30 minutes to climb the canyons along the canyons before an introduction to the upcoming adventure including drying practice of active sailing and safety. Afterwards the fun with acclimating in about 7 degrees of warm water and a sprint into the wetlands from about 4 meters.

The thrill of canyoning a la bonne heure

We were able to book another canyoning tour very shortly (three days before) and handle everything very spontaneously. The service in advance was well organized and our guide Ale certainly led us through the canyon. Absolutely recommended!

Super canyoning tour

We were looking for accommodation for our hiking weekend in Allgäu. Unfortunately we hadn't read the website thoroughly and so missed the water sports season. Nevertheless, the hotel was ideal for our purposes: driving very close to the main hiking routes and outdoor, or wellness activities (climbing gardens, summer bike trails, hiking trails, spas...). We were received very kindly, the whole hotel makes a very decent impression and is very clean. Everything is well maintained, colorful in taste, but you notice how much work you're putting in the hotel.

Ideal for an active weekend

+ Staff was awesome and very helpfull with many great recommodations. Clean room with balcony. Free wifi, table tennis, billiard. Perfect for our group for skiing on nearby hills.

- Small room (for 4 persons). Wifi doesn't work at room (only halways). Not much space for parking if there's a few more cars.
