Yes, it is out of the way from Paris (but so, so convenient with a stop at the Vincent Van Gogh house and grave) but entering the front gates, you are swept up in magic. Seriously! Beautiful, beautiful wide open and lush grounds surround a truly magnificent French chateau. The grounds are immaculately kept. We loved walking the palatial grounds. The guest room was simple and spacious with its own bathroom and small kitchenette. Wonderful shower. Uber clean room, crisp sheets with towels and robes provided. Emily and Rick, the hostess and host, couldn’t have been more accommodating, cheerful and helpful. Since we had to depart early to catch a flight and couldn’t have a full breakfast, she provided a wonderful continental spread in a basket the night before. My only regret is we couldn’t spend more time here. I. AM. SO. GLAD. WE. CAME. TIPS: Best accessed by car; an hour's drive from Paris; close to Beauvais airport.
