Fortunately, I slipped my car into a path along the hotel and the hotel manager told me that it could stay there. My room is on the second floor without an elevator. It's difficult to get the luggage up there without the help of a fairly steep stairway. My smartphone room is designed for 3 people (2 bedrooms and a 3rd bedroom). Fortunately, the photos showed that the hotel is on the waterfront. Unfortunately, it's not that time that the hotel is located in room 17 and the view is there.

It's a good hotel, except for the elevator.

Tasteful warm welcoming

A classic guesthouse for travellers at the gates of Cluny, this family-run hotel has been converted into a comfortable facility.

Comfortable old-fashioned guesthouse with excellent cuisine.

The hotel is located on a very busy departmental road, there is a terrible noise at night even when the window is closed and it is impossible to sleep, the restaurant is fine, the staff is charming, but its three stars are incomprehensible.

A Bad Step

Nice staging in Cluny and the hostel. Very friendly owners. A perfect dinner with tasty, well cooked food. A room, a bit rustic but very clean and comfortable. A full and cozy lunch. A location close to the historic city centre within walking distance of the hostel.

Hostel with a nice restaurant

When we went to Cluny we went to this selected establishment on the internet for the good reviews. We were disappointed. We had chosen the menus at 38 and 41 euros, it was generally good but without the slightest taste spark. When you tap at 41 euros the customer deserves a quality meat (the beef was in the kitchen in demand but quite stiff...) and above all a little creativity. For the beef charolais dish it was indicated a seasoned vegetable filling, in fact it was a dolphin gratin. The dolphin gratin is very simple but frankly you serve it in the menu at 15 points...It is very rare. For a good service: this is a nice and efficient dishes (not served to our bellies) and in the case of our bellies, it becomes a very nice result for our bellies and our bellies in general, it is not a very good result.

Good but not creative

We got into this hotel without paying a dime at first glance. But once inside we were greeted by two lovely people. The rooms were very comfortable. A very nice shower and an incredible bunk. Lunch was very right. A great view from the porch and very good food. It was very nice. To test! PS: Little bit, the wifi is pretty bad. Only to improve.

A quiet moment by the river, in the middle of the coolness, a master genius who relives the traditional to the contemporary and sensitivity, to be recommended without moderation.

Tasteful perfection

The most valuable feature of the establishment is undoubtedly the restaurant. I refer to a review of the tyre manufacturer's color guide for more precision. When clarity allows, having dinner or breakfast above (or almost) the river is really very pleasant. The decorative photos show that the establishment has not really changed (from the outside) since its origins. The interior has been given its daytime flavour even though some historical constraints have not been overcome (e.g. absence of elevator). Although our room was a street, we had an excellent room and were not disturbed by the event. Located just 15 minutes from the historic centre, Cluny Point is an excellent site for quiet and easy to visit at night.

What we wanted... and even a little more.

Beautiful dining room overlooking the Grosne. The Burgundian menu with an extraordinary entrance: Nem with carrots and vegetables, and a beautiful dessert. Too bad for a fake charlotte's net that looked like a rubber sole. The cellar doesn't offer any small bottles of red wine.
