Hotel Orbis Bitola

It's an interesting setup: a hotel run by, and in the same building as, a local TV station, but it works! It was only opened in late 2016. Our compact, modern double room was in a nice, clean and comfortable state, and everything worked fine. The lift takes you up to the rooms on the 2nd floor. The TV station is on the 3rd floor! On the very edge of town, the area is very quiet. It's either a 30-minute walk downhill or a €1.50 taxi ride to the middle of town. The only downside was the fairly thin walls between rooms - soundproofing wasn't great, though we did sleep soundly. And for the amount we paid we simply cannot complain. In the course of events we met, I think, the entire TV company. They all spoke excellent English and were very charming. Beyond that, the chief, Tomislav, helped me find a physio in town for my bad back and even insisted on driving me there. I also managed to leave some items behind and they hung onto them and got them back to me. A memorable stay for many reasons. Recommended!
