We went to the Spa at night and the views were incredible so we decided to go next morning for breafkast. Unfortunately, this was a nightmare. Even though the food quality was okay, the service from the waitress was terrible. To start we came with our 2 laptops to kind of chill and work with a coffee and we requested a bigger table to have more space. The restaurant was not full, and there were plenty of tables available. The waitress told us that we can only seat in the small tables for 2 persons, and not a bigger..which was odd. 

Then we asked her questions about the menu and she didnt provide the right answers and she didnt speak english as well. She was annoyed for some reason and didnt provide a good service. Another waitress came and was much more better, attentive and personalized service. They should improve training their employees much better.

Terrible Customer at the Breakfast Restaurant

I had called and reserved for a massage and pools at 5:30 p.m., struggled with the Spanish on the phone but felt it was set. They wanted payment via WhatsApp before arriving but we had issues with it and didn’t pay. We had a tour planned during the day and knew we would return at 4. They changed our time to 4:30, with a 20 minute early arrival, which was impossible for us. We got there and they did not care at all to turn us away. They’d confirmed it all after we were on the tour and I never looked at WhatsApp till it was too late. They are busy and two guests obviously weren’t important to them. It was very disappointing to us.

Disappointed not to have our reserved time honored

A stunning oasis of luxury nestled in to the hill overlooking Banos. We had a wonderful few days enjoying the luxurious, picturesque surroundings.  

The pool area overlooking the valley is incredible and a wonderful place to enjoy a sundowner cocktail as well as a morning jacuzzi.   

The restaurant is delightful offering a delicious menu complete with exceptional service and delightful decor.

In addition to the swimming pool overlooking the town one of our favorite places was the cafe where we had our breakfast.  It also boast beautiful views of the valley whilst providing an exceptional breakfast both in quality and quantity.

Luxury and Adventure combined

We had dinner at the resturant. The food was delicious and excellent service. I don't remember our servers name but he was tall and spoke english really well. Thank you for being so attentive especially so polite with our young children. They catered for my daughter’s nut allergy so that was a plus for me.  

Dinner date with the littles

Wonderful views in a peaceful yet invigoration setting...Our suite, #63,  the Astral was comfortable,  spacious and private...We took advantage of the double hot tub and beautiful  stone  fireplace...It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway or as a luxurious place to stay while enjoying  the adventure thrills,, both man made and natural that Banos has to offer.  

Spectacular..Exceeded my high expectations

This was a trip highlight for me.  I enjoyed a spa treatment, lunch, and relaxing in their warm pools.  The view was stunning, the staff was friendly and helpful.  The food in the restaurant didn't meet my expectations.  I ordered a steak and it was a little salty and overcooked.

A wonderful spa experience

We checked in at 9pm with my wife. The receptionist waited for us. From the entrance until almost 11pm we were outside the room because they couldn't open it. They didn't offer us a waiting room or anything like that. My wife was told that if they couldn't open the door, they would ask for a taxi to get us out of the hotel.

Bad service is needed.

We enjoyed spa treatments and hot springs with our kids ages 11 and 8. It was definitely special. The food was the best fine dining experience we had while in Ecuador. The kids were delighted to eat the food and walk the property! 

Family Experience

I spent one night in this fantastic hotel during a week-long trip to Ecuador with my wife. The hotel is located on the hills overlooking Banos, a large property but with only 30 rooms total. The rooms are spread over a wide area with magnificent gardens  throughout. Service was very friendly, we were helped to our room and given all instructions about their spa and pools. Our room was very large, with a Jacuzzi tub, large bathroom and good toiletries. The bed was comfortable, the view over the orchard and the valley was breathtaking and private. Food was very good, provided by the restaurant near the lobby; there is another restaurant with a view of the city but we did not dine there. The highlight of the hotel is really their beautifully tended gardens, with enormous avocado trees, orchards with vegetables and the lettuce for the next meal, with the sound of the bees feeding on more than 100 types of plants and flowers. Even though we did not try their spa and the pools, they looked amazing. Definitely a great place to spend a weekend or more, both for families and couples alike.

Beautiful property on the hills over Banos

This place was has a magical feeling to it.  The rooms are charming.  The pool/hot tub area is great.  The grounds are well kept and breath taking.  The food, and drinks are great.  The only issue our group had was their organization.  At check out there was confusion on our totals.   I felt like my total was reasonable, but some friends were uncertain.
